Memory verse:

“And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and

said unto them, Occupy till I come.”

“But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying,

We will not have this man to reign over us.”

“And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to

whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man

 had gained by trading.”

“Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.”

“And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.”

“And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.”

“And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.”

  • Lk. 19:13-19.

Every man has opportunities come to his life again and again; there is no man that lacks opportunity in life Rev. 3:10; Matt. 14:26-29. The challenge is accepting the responsibility that opportunity presents. Success and greatness in life is simply by embracing the responsibility that opportunity presents to an individual. Opportunities are often missed because it is always dressed in an overall called work, only the diligent ever seizes it, the lazy dodges it to his undoing. Opportunities keep coming to everyone, how we respond will determine what become of us as individuals SOS. 5:1-10. Many people in life have too many things to blame for their situation, and this ‘blame game’ is the reason for their failure and mediocrity. It is a clear indication that they failed to embrace opportunities that came to them. The truth is that everyone becomes who he accepted responsibility by choice to be Deut. 30:19.

Our teachings this week has been focused on the study of fundamental responsibilities the believer must embrace in order to maximize the abundant life Jn. 10:10. And I trust that your life shall be lighted by God’s word again.

Opportunities Every Believer must embrace to Maximize life.

  1. We must accept to build our faith as individuals.

Everything about the life of Christ is by faith Acts 24:24. Each one’s experience in the kingdom is a function of his faith Matt. 9:29. The quality of our lives on the earth is absolutely a function of our faith Hab. 2;4; Rms. 1:17; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 10:38. When faith is out of the believer, he ceases to live but merely existing. And faith is a personal spiritual asset; the faith of one cannot work for another Matt. 13:53-58. Each believer has the responsibility to build his faith, and we do this as we increase our spiritual understanding of God’s word Rms. 10:17. In essence, every believer that will experience the best of abundant life must take the opportunity of building his faith daily, by nurturing it with the word of God.

Great Word – when the believer is out of faith he ceases to live but merely exists.
