The scriptures make us to understand that accepting personal responsibility over life is a basic requirement for a glorious life Deu. 30:19; 28:1-2. The challenge of many why they have remained on the floor in life is the ‘nobody to help me’ syndrome Jn. 5:7. Such are constantly having somebody or something to blame for their undoing in life. And by this attitude they keep missing out on the opportunities that life offers them without their knowing Jn. 5:2-7. We must understand that life is guided by the laws of God, and God deals with us as individuals based on our response to these laws Isa. 51:1-3. It is high time we give life an individualistic approach to our life, so we can make the most of it.

Personal responsibilities for glorious outcome in life.

1. Building of our faith as an individual.

Faith is a basic demand for the life that will overcome the limitations and oppositions on the earth, without which the individual will remain a victim and a subject in life 1Jn. 5:4. The scriptures make us to understand that the quality of our lives as individuals is a function of our faith Hab. 2:4; Gal. 3:11. It is to everyone according to his faith Mat. 9:29. What is faith? It is having confidence in God and His word that makes the believer to do what God has commanded, thereby committing God to perform His good word in his life Mk. 2:1-12. The issue is that every man has the responsibility to build his faith himself, and no one can do it on your behalf Hab. 2:4. We build our faith through spiritual understanding of the word Rms. 10:17; Acts 8:26-35. No one can spend the time in the word, meditate on the scriptures, and obey scriptural demands on your behalf. These are the demands for getting one’s faith built.

Accepting personal responsibility for life is the breakthrough point from mediocrity to a life of relevance. I want to charge you to take up this responsibility now.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive fresh grace to take full responsibility for the outcome of my life thereby positioning me for unending breakthrough from today 1Cor. 15:10.

Action.

Get into God’s word to build your faith in the areas you are most challenged now, and don’t stop until you get hold of the substance of faith.
