Memory verse:   

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,

 that both thou and thy seed may live:”

• Deu. 30:19.

The scriptures make us to understand that the believer is designed for the top in life Deu. 28:13; Mat. 5:13-14. In essence, whatever was the level of the individual before he met Christ as his Savior and Lord is not the issue again, he has the promise of rising to the top thereafter 2Cor. 5:17. This rise is not automatic; each one has to make the choice for it Deu. 30:19. The choice is to accept the responsibility of embracing the demands, which have the guarantee to raise a believer to the topmost top in life. The top has become elusive to many believers simply because they have ignored these demands, which often come as opportunities.

Responsibilities that require individual engagement to realize our great destiny.

1. Building our faith as an individual.

The scriptures make us to understand that it is to everyone in life according to his faith Mat. 9:29; Hab. 2:4. In essence, your faith is what will define your experience in life. Therefore, to make the most of our life as a believer, our first focus should be to build our faith and keep at it. What is faith? Faith is the confidence in God that makes the believer obey God irrespective of the situation, which moves God to deliver His promise to the believer Jn. 2:5-10. This confidence and capacity to obey God has to be built by the individual, this is through spiritual understanding of God’s word Rms. 10:17; Acts 8:26-35. This cannot be done by someone for another, it is a personal responsibility. Faith has unlimited capacity for growth; the more we build it the more it grows 2Ths. 1:3. The quality of our lives as believers is a function of our faith Heb. 10:38, Gal. 3;11; Rms. 1:17.

I charge you today to stop waiting for things, stop blaming someone or something for the lot of your life. Start taking full responsibility for everything in your life! A major responsibility that will be required is that of building your faith. Be blessed.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, I accept responsibility over my life and I receive the grace to embrace every demand for the full delivery of every of my inheritance in Christ Acts 20:32.

Action.

Make this decision; no one is to be blamed for whatever becomes of my life from now.
