Memory verse:
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Lk. 1:45.
Prophecies have in-built capacity for fulfillment Isa. 55:10-11. Lack of fulfillment of a prophetic word is not a problem with the prophecy, but with the believer. This is because every word from God is settled in heaven, and has been purified in the furnace seven times Psa 119:89; 12:6. The factor that determines the performance of God’s word is the believer-s faith Heb. 4:2: Lk. 1:45.
How faith powers the delivery of prophetic words.
- Faith enables the believer to hold on to the end.
Faith must be sustained to the end in order to take delivery of prophetic word Heb. 2:1-4; 10:38. This is because the believer that will experience the fulfillment of prophecy must keep holding on to the prophetic word to the end Mat. 24:13. The good news is that true bible faith has the inherent capacity to keep the believer holding on to the end Rms. 4:16-17.
- Faith makes the believer not to stagger.
From scriptures, we understand when the believer waivers or staggers, he cannot take delivery of prophecy Jms. 1:6-8. Faith is the stabilizer that makes the believer not to stagger in the face of odds. Abraham’s strong faith made him not to stagger, which made him to take delivery of the prophecy at the end Rms. 4:20-21.
- Faith makes us to call those things that are not as though they were.
From scriptures, we understand that we must learn to keep calling those things that be not as though they were to see prophecy become fulfilled Rms. 4:17; Psa. 81:10-14. But faith is what empowers the believer to speak about what is yet to exist as if it is there, in order to take delivery of it Mk. 11:23.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, and by the Holy Spirit help my faith thereby enabling me to take delivery of the prophecy over my life this year with speed Mk. 9:24.
Action.
Begin to boldly declare the prophetic lifelines as they happened in your life.
