Memory verse:
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Lk. 1:45.
We have said the understanding of God and His nature is vital to experience the best of the kingdom life Psa. 91:16; Jer. 31:34. Very vital about God is that His words never fails; whatever He says is guaranteed to come to pass as spoken Isa. 55:10-11. The issue is that the fulfillment of what God says is the responsibility of each believer 1Tim. 1:18. We established from scriptures that faith is the believer’s responsibility for prophecy fulfillment Lk. 1:45.
How faith powers the delivery of prophetic words.
- We must understand that every word from God is resisted by the gates of hell.
Whenever God speaks, the gates of hell are all out to resist the delivery of those words 1Cor. 16:9; 2Cor. 4:4. Jesus Himself told the disciples that He will build the church, but we should watch out for the resistance of the gates of hell against the growth of the church Mat. 16:18.
- Faith is the way to deal with the gates of hell.
The scriptures make us to understand that faith along with prayer and fasting will dislodge the gates of hell any time and any day Mat. 17:21; Eph. 6:16. In essence, to see the activities of the gates of hell silenced, the believer need to put his faith to work through prayer and fasting.
- Faith engages God capacity to work.
Every time the believer puts his faith to work through the prayer altar, he has triggered and engaged the capacity of God into the situation Mat. 21:22; Isa. 66:7-8. This is why when the faith of the believer is alive and at work, every prophetic word is guaranteed to come to fulfillment.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, and by the Holy Spirit help my faith thereby enabling me to take delivery of the prophecy over my life this year with speed Mk. 9:24.
Action.
Identify the areas of resistance to your desires; build your faith in those areas.
