Memory verse:

“That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all
good works.”
- 2Tim. 3:16-17.
We must come to the understanding that there is nothing we do that add to, or did not do that subtracts from God, He is the I AM Exo. 3:14. Whether we obey God or disobey Him does not change anything about God, but has everything to do with the outcome of our life as individuals Duet. 30:19; Deut. 28:1-13. Scriptures make us to understand that obedience to God’s word and instruction is the guarantee to the life of profiting that God ordained for the believer. This is the missing link why some believers are only marking time in their Christian life but not making remarkable progress or profit.
Every statement of scriptures is a commandment, and it is to be applied individually Matt. 7:24-27. Every statement of scriptures is loaded with profits and blessings, but our obedience of faith is what qualifies our access to the profits Jn. 2:5-11. Our study this week has been on some basic commandment of scriptures that the believer must apply himself to.
Fundamental Commandments of Scriptures for the Believer’s Profiting.
- Godly association commandment.
The scriptures commanded the believer to keep only godly association 2Cor. 6:14. Godly association preserves the believer from corruption in life 1Cor. 15:33. Godly association preserves the believer from destruction Pro. 13:22. Godly association invoke blessing on the believer Psa. 1:1-3. Wrong association will always lead to destruction of the lives that are concerned 2Sam. 13:1-20. No matter how anointed a believer is, evil communication will defile and corrupt his walk with God. We must therefore avoid association with the ungodly or else we trade off our inheritance in Christ. Remember, friendship is not by force but by choice.
The truth is that you can never remain the same when you walk begin to walk with someone in life; you are either getting better or bitter. Therefore, make the right choice of your association.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive fresh grace for obedience to the commandment of scriptures as a lifestyle from today Acts 26:22.
Action.
Appraise the closest five people around your life now; are they godly association or the contrary and make decision on each one.

Grace to make right and prompt decision on every association is released on you now!
May your path never cross with any individual that will bring you down in life!
