The desire of every man is to make profit in life; this is what every man is striving at daily. Profit in life means making gains, progress or experiencing growth. In essence, when the level an individual was yesterday has improved today, the individual is experiencing a life of profit. Scriptures make us to understand that this is God’s design for His children Pro. 4:18. But many are not experiencing it because of lack of the understanding of God’s way to it Eccl. 10:15. Some others are not experiencing it for outright refusal to embrace God’s way to it Jer. 6:16-17.

We established from scriptures in yesterday’s teaching that God’s word is the guaranteed way to profits in life Deut. 28:1; 2Tim. 3:16-17. When a believer is committed to operating by God’s word, he has positioned himself for unending progress in his life. The believer that will truly operate by God’s word must see every statement of scriptures as applicable as an individual. Many have a ‘general’ approach to God’s word, is the reason their obedience is questionable. In today’s teaching, we shall take a look at another fundamental commandment of scriptures. I see you step into a new level of blessing by today’s teaching.

Fundamental Commandments of Scriptures for the Believer’s Profiting.

1. The fellowship commandment.

Fellowship refers to the coming together of 2 or more people to worship God, and this is a commandment of scriptures to every believer Heb. 10:25. Hence, staying away from the gathering of believers in worship of God for any reason is disobedience to the commandment of scriptures. We understand from God’s word that two are better than one; thereby fellowship makes the life of believers better Eccl. 4:9-12. Fellowship preserves the spiritual life of believers, thereby making it nearly impossible to backslide Psa. 84:7. Fellowship is a place of illumination, thereby making the believer to subdue the power of darkness Psa. 73:17. And fellowship is the believer’s city of refuge today, thereby making him untouchable by the forces of destruction Heb. 12:22-24.

It is an established truth that those who are regular in church live healthier and longer averagely than those who do not. The choice to become a ‘church addict’ is a wisdom for the life of profits.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive fresh grace for obedience to the commandment of scriptures as a lifestyle from today Acts 26:22.

Make the decision never to miss any church service from henceforth, and commit to this decision for life.
