“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”
“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:”
“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”
We have established from scriptures that God will never do a thing until He has first revealed it to His children Isa. 42:8-9. When God reveals His plan, it is certain to come to pass Isa. 14:24,27. But God will do nothing in a man’s life without the input of the individual Rev. 3:20. We identified thanksgiving as the believer’s basic input to make what God says comes to fulfillment Rms. 4:18-20. Jesus told the disciples God’s plan of feeding the multitude in the wilderness when He said ‘give ye them to eat’ Lk. 9:13. Contrary to all facts on ground, Jesus gave thanks for this divine plan, and the multitude ate with surplus left over in fulfillment of the prophetic word Lk. 9:16-17; Jn. 6:11-13.
Examining the power of thanksgiving in making prophecy come to fulfillment.
Jesus, the Christ is our perfect example in all things about the kingdom. He spoke prophetically about the dead hearing the voice of the son of man, and the dead coming to life Jn. 5:25,28. The scenario of Lazarus who was dead for four days came up, Jesus gave thanks and called forth Lazarus, who came out of the grave in fulfillment of the prophetic word Jn. 11:40-44.
Thanksgiving is a mystery of the kingdom that triggers the release of fresh power Psa. 92:1-2,10. The power released goes ahead to make what God has spoken to come into reality Jer. 32:17.
Mary, a virgin was told she will conceive and bare a son, she gave thanks and God did it Lk. 1:30-35,46-49. Our God has not change; He will perform His word in your life this year Mal. 3:6.
