Memory verse:

“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:”

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”

  • Rms. 4:18-20.

We understand that our God is prophetic in nature and operation, who will always reveal His plan and purpose before attempting execution Isa. 42:8-9. Once God makes any of His plans known, it is sure to come to pass Isa. 14:24,27. But the fulfillment is as each believer accepts the responsibility for it. The basic responsibility as revealed in scriptures is to celebrate God for the prophecy. As we do we invoke the fulfillment of it Rms. 4:18-21.

Examining the power of thanksgiving in making prophecy come to fulfillment.

  1. The case of Hezekiah exemplifies the power of thanksgiving.

Hezekiah was sick unto death, even the verdict of death was already pronounced on him Isa. 38:1. He pleaded his case with God, and a word came from God saying Hezekiah won’t die that fifteen more years was added to his life Isa. 38:4-5. Hezekiah had to sing his own songs in celebration of God to bring that prophecy into fulfillment in his life Isa. 38:18-20,

  • Thanksgiving enforces fulfillment of prophecy.

We must understand that the mission of Satan is to oppose whatever is of God Rev. 12:17. Therefore, when God declares anything, Satan will attempt to make it fail. The believer’s thanksgiving and praise generates the power that clears off the enemy to enforce the delivery of the prophecy Acts 16:25-26.

The scriptures make it clear that whatever God says cannot fail Isa. 55:10-11. Therefore, as we take responsibility, every prophetic word shall be speedily fulfilled in our lives this year.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the oil of joy and the garment of praise, thereby making me to take full delivery of the prophecy of this year in my life Rms. 4:18-20.

Action.

Thank God specifically for every prophetic word you have received for the year.

Priestly Blessings.

This shall be to you your year of fulfillment of prophecy!

Whatever wants to make the prophecy of the year fail in your life is cursed today!
