ENGAGING THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING TOWARDS FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECY 010223 PT. 3.

Memory verse:

“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:”

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”

  • Rms. 4:18-20.

The knowledge of God is vital to do well in life Dan. 11:32. When we know God, we are strengthened to make great things happen in life Pro. 24:5. We understand from scriptures that our God never does anything without first making it known ahead of time Isa. 46:9-10. And whatever God reveals as His plan for His children is sure to come to pass Isa. 14:24. But to see it come to pass, the believer must embrace the requirement; fundamental is giving glory to God for what He has revealed Rms. 4:20-21.

Examining the power of thanksgiving in making prophecy come to fulfillment.

  1. The case of Jehoshaphat exemplifies the power of thanksgiving.

Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah was faced with a battle against three nations 2Chr. 20:1-3. It was an overwhelming situation, they didn’t know what to do 2Chr. 20:12-13. Through a prophet God declared their victory without a fight 2Chr. 20:14-17. As God said this, Jehoshaphat moved the entire nation to celebrate God for what He has spoken, which moved God to destroy their enemies and deliver their supernatural victory according to the prophecy 2Chr. 20:22-24.

  • Thanksgiving triggers fulfillment of prophecy.

Every prophecy shows us what God has prepared for us, which He intends to bring us into Exo. 23:20. Just like a loaded gun that is corked, it takes the pulling of the trigger to release what has been loaded. The same is true of prophecy; but the trigger to pull here is our thanksgiving Psa. 67:5-7; Jer. 30:19.

Other years may have failed to deliver what God said. This year shall be different as we take up the responsibility of thanksgiving and praise for what God has spoken.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the oil of joy and the garment of praise, thereby making me to take full delivery of the prophecy of this year in my life Rms. 4:18-20.

Action.

Become aggressive in your thanksgiving and praise.

Priestly Blessings.

I decree a fresh release of the oil of joy on your life right now to maximize the moment!

Every prophetic word for the year shall come to pass with speed for you!
