Memory verse:
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
- 1Ths. 5:18.
Shiloh is a mountain of God with great and diverse opportunities Jos. 18:1-3. But it is not enough that one is present at Shiloh to seize the opportunities, though essential but does not equal taking delivery of the blessings. We need to understand the covenant way to maximize opportunities Ecc. 10:15. The scriptures make us to understand that thanksgiving is the covenant tool for making every opportunity deliver Jn. 6:6-11; 11:40-44. This is why the believer is instructed to give thanks always 1Ths. 5:18.
Understanding the power of thanksgiving in delivery of our desires.
- Thanksgiving makes our prayer to deliver answer.
We understand from scriptures that every prayer that must be answered must be accompanied with thanksgiving Php. 4:6. Remember, whenever we ask according to God’s will, we have the guarantee of answer 1Jn. 5:14-15. And God’s will for the believer is to give thanks in all things 1Ths. 5:18.
- Thanksgiving enforces the fulfillment of prophecy.
Whatever God says is what He is committed to bring to pass Isa. 14:24,27. But He leaves us with the responsibility to invoke Him to doing it; else the prophecy may never see the light of the day 1Tim. 1:18. Thanksgiving is the way to invoke God to work Jer. 30:19-21. Jesus having prayed gave thanks and Lazarus came forth out of the grave, fulfilling prophecy Jn. 11:25.41-45; 5:25.
- Thanksgiving triggers supernatural manifestations.
We saw Jesus gave thanks when he was faced with the challenge of 5,000 men to feed in the wilderness, not counting women and children. The five loaves and two fishes he had multiplied supernaturally to feed the multitude, with surplus leftover at the end Jn. 6:6-13; Mat. 15:36.
This is the scriptural pattern to follow for the believer to enjoy answered prayers and fulfillment of prophecies Jer. 6:16. Core among the opportunities of Shiloh is answered prayers and the delivery of whatever God has promised. This shall be your Shiloh!
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for the privilege of Shiloh 2022 and the great things that you have made ready for me Lk. 14:17.
Action.
Give thanks for the opportunities of Shiloh 2022, for what you expect from God.

At the mountain of Shiloh this year, you also shall see God!
This shall be a Shiloh you shall remember forever in the story of your life!
