Memory verse:   

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

• 1Ths. 5:18.

The scriptures make us to understand that following God’s way is the secret to our making as believers, and the cheapest access to our desires Mat. 4:19; Jer. 5:4-5; Ecc. 10:15. The challenge is that the way of God and man are often in contrast, but God’s way is the higher way, and guarantees the believer’s delivery of result Isa. 55:8-9. From scriptures, we are made to understand that thanksgiving is God’s way that will enable a child of God take delivery of his testimonies Psa. 67:5-7.

Understanding the power of thanksgiving in delivery of our desires.

1. Thanksgiving is a covenant requirement for answered prayer.

When the believer’s voice is heard by God in the place of prayer, the scriptures gives the assurance that his answer will be delivered 1Jn. 5:14-15. Thanksgiving is what grants the believer audience with God, thereby making his voice to be heard by God Psa. 100:3. In essence, thanksgiving is a must to secure answer in prayers Php. 4:6.

• Thanksgiving empowers us to see God’s promises fulfilled.

Giving thanks is God’s will to the believer in every situation 1Ths. 5:18. When the believer does the will of God, he becomes qualified for the delivery of the promises of God Heb. 10:36.

• Thanksgiving moves God to deliver our requests.

Thanksgiving is acknowledging God for what He has done Psa. 103:1-2. When the believer does this, he is indirectly invoking God to deliver his other requests that are pending Jn. 11:22,42-44.

Remember, Shiloh is a mountain of answered prayer, where we take delivery of our desires and inheritances in Christ Jos. 18:1-3. Thanksgiving therefore become a vital tool to make the most of the great opportunities that Shiloh offers the believer. As we engage the power of thanksgiving, Shiloh 2022 shall fully deliver God’s plan and purpose for our lives 2Chr. 20:1-5,22-24.

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for the privilege of Shiloh 2022 and the great things that you have made ready for me Lk. 14:17.

Action.

Spend 5 minutes in every 4-hours of today to thank God for what God did in the past Shilohs.
