Memory verse:   

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”

• Pro. 23:18.

Jacob got to a certain place on his way from Beersheba to Haran to pass the night, he woke up and exclaimed that it was a place God dwells but he never knew it Gen. 28:16. He missed the encounter with God scheduled for him. On his return journey back from Haran, he got to the same environment, but this time got himself ready. As God appeared, Jacob won’t let go unless God gives him a change of story Gen. 32:20-28. He had clear and strong expectation this time, and he got his encounter that transformed his life forever Gen. 32:28:30. Shiloh is an appointed place of encounter with God for our generation, and we are privilege to have another Shiloh before us, coming up from December 6^th to 11^th 2022. Our expectation is vital to maximize this opportunity.

Understanding the power of expectation.

1. Expectation enables the believer to know what it takes to access God’s provisions for his life.

When expectation is clear and strong, it makes the individual to pursue what it takes to make it a reality Lk. 6:46-49. Also, expectation empowers the believer to do whatever it takes, thereby taking practical delivery of his desires Jms. 1:22-25.

• Expectation makes God to hear the believer when he calls and to receive answer.

When we call on God expecting, we are guaranteed to receive answer to the bugging issues of our lives that we called upon Him for Mat. 21:22. Lack of clear or strong expectation in prayer is the reason why some believers never have anything to show for their call on the prayer altar.

Shiloh is here again, and it is the privilege of everyone to meet with God one-on-one. But we must have clear expectation that is strong enough; this will drive us to go all the way for its delivery Gen. 13:14-17. Also, we must remain confident in the reality of our expectation as we approach Shiloh 2022 Heb. 4:9.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me by your Spirit to build word-based expectation, thereby positioning me for undeniable turnaround testimonies at Shiloh 2022 Mk. 9:24.
