• Pro. 23:18.

We understand from scriptures that redemption brings the believer into a life that is characterized with supernatural turnaround, which turns the believer to a wonder 2Cor. 5:17. The turnaround is as the believer desires Mk. 11:23. But faith is vital in determining the lot of each one in the kingdom; it is faith that defines the experience of each believer Hab. 2:4; Rms. 1:17. The turnaround that redemption offers the believer can only be experienced through his faith Mat. 9:29. A sound understanding of faith is therefore important, and from scriptures faith is word-based expectation Heb. 11:1. This means that expectation is vital to maximize the new life redemption offers.

Understanding the power of expectation.

1. Expectation is vital to invoke divine intervention on any issue of interest.

The expectation of the believer is the spiritual magnet that attracts God into his situation for divine intervention Pro. 24:13-14. We saw this vividly in the life and ministry of Elijah the prophet, his expectation made God to send rain in contrast to weather forecast 1Kgs. 18:42-45.

• Expectation based on the word translates the believer into the realm of all possibility.

The scriptures make us to understand that all things are possible to the believer who can believe or EXPECT to see what he believes come to pass Mk. 9:23. In essence, when our expectation is based on God’s word, we have moved from impossibility to the realm of all possibility.

This becomes very crucial as we approach Shiloh 2022, the mountain of divine intervention Jos. 18:1-2. We must keep seeing the reality of our expectation as we get set for Shiloh 2022.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me by your Spirit to build word-based expectation, thereby positioning me for undeniable turnaround testimonies at Shiloh 2022 Mk. 9:24.

Action.

Identify the areas of your life that you need intervention, and specify the intervention you desire from God.
