God has the mandate of seeing His church grow continually, and has committed Himself to see this become actualized Mat. 16:18. But by His own law, He cannot do anything on the earth without the permission of man Psa. 115:16. Prayer is the scriptural way by which we give God access to get things done on the earth Mat. 7:7-8. In essence, when we prayer we are giving God the permission to intervene on the earth. Therefore, every church that will experience God’s hand that brings growth must commit to the prayer altar Psa. 2:8; Ezk. 36:37.

The power of prayer in invoking sustainable and supernatural church growth.

1. Prayer empowers for fruitful soul winning.

Soul winning is God’s wisdom for sustaining church growth, because no church grows without a people on the go for Christ Lk. 14:17-23; Jn. 4:29,39. But prayer is vital to make our effort in reaching out to the unsaved fruitful. This is because it is in prayer that we dislodge the forces that hold men captive to sin, for their salvation as we speak to them 2Cor. 4:4; Lk. 11:21-22; Mat. 17:21.

• Prayer also empowers saved souls to be established in the faith.

It is not enough to see souls saved, we are only counted as fruitful when they become established in the faith Jn. 15:16. In prayer, we subdue the forces out to contend with their love for God, the word, righteous living, and fellowship, thereby securing their establishment in the faith and the church Col. 4:12; Gal. 4:19.

The truth is, every church that will experience true growth and sustain it, must embrace the demand of intense and continuous prayer engagement Isa. 66:7-8.

Jesus is Lord!

Father in the name of Jesus, baptize us afresh with the Spirit of grace and supplication for a new level of kingdom advancement prayer commitment required for the full delivery of the 4-level dimension growth ordained for this harvest season Zch. 12:10.

Action.

Pray for all your converts and contacts since the harvest season be compelled to this church tomorrow Sunday, and each one to have definite encounter of a lifetime.
