We understand from scriptures that there is nothing that makes God glad as seeing His church experience growth Mat. 16:18. This is because church growth is by salvation of men, and their establishment in the faith through abiding in the church Acts 2:37,41,47. And God is ever excited when He sees souls getting saved Lk. 15:7,10. The scriptures make us to understand that only the hand of God can save men Pro. 21:1; Jn. 6:44. This hand of God is secured through prayer 1Kgs. 18:41-46. In essence, prayer is key to supernatural church growth Ezk. 36:37.

The power of prayer in invoking sustainable and supernatural church growth.

1. Prayer grants access to divine wisdom.

Among other blessings of engaging the prayer altar is access to divine wisdom Jms. 1:5-7. Wisdom is vital to experience supernatural church growth Pro. 24:3-5. The wisdom of God work teaches us the way to experience growth of the church.

• Prayer is one of the biblical strategies for sustaining church growth.

Everything requires a strategy for its delivery, church growth inclusive Ecc. 10:15. Prayer is a guaranteed strategy to deliver supernatural growth of the church Acts 3:1-6; 4:29-33; 5:12-14.

• Prayer guarantees word increase.

The word of God is essential for the growth of the church Jer. 3:15-16. In essence, for the church to grow God’s word must be on the increase Acts 6:7. The ministry of prayer invokes the increase of the word of God 1Ths. 1:2-8; 2Ths. 3:1.

Therefore, prayer is a must for every church that will experience supernatural and sustainable growth in any generation Isa. 66:7-8.

Father in the name of Jesus, baptize us afresh with the Spirit of grace and supplication for a new level of kingdom advancement prayer commitment required for the full delivery of the 4-level dimension growth ordained for this harvest season Zch. 12:10.

Let’s ask of God to increase His word in our midst that will make the entire city to gather before this month is over.
