Scriptural prophecy has it clear that in the last days many shall fall away, from the faith and it will begin with a falling away from their commitment to God 2Ths. 2:3. The devil will waging severe war against at the heart of men, and will work to see the love of many wax cold for God Matt. 24:12. The devil is all out fighting his last battle with a mission to see how many he can lure, and take along to his eternal abode of hell fire. Therefore, every believer in this dispensation of the last days must become strong in the Lord and stand against all the wiles of the enemy Eph. 6:13-14.

We identified the grace for continuity as a vital armor of God that every believer must put on in order to be able to withstand the onslaught of hell of falling away Act. 26:22; 1Cor. 15:58. Scriptures make it clear that the believer is not rewarded for starting well and strong, but for enduring to the end and finishing strong Matt. 24:13; Hab. 2:3. One way we can make things happen is to locate someone who has done what we desire, and follow in the step of the individual Jer. 6:16. This is why our teaching this week is the study of individuals in scriptures who walked and served God to the very end. I know today’s teaching shall release fresh light in you.

Scriptural Examples of Men with Grace for Continuity.

1. Job.

Job was the greatest in his days, but his life came under severe attack from the devil. He lost everything he had labored for in one day’ property and children Job 1:1-3,8-22. In spite of all these, Job kept his commitment to God to the end Job 13:15;42:10-14.

• Daniel.

Daniel was one of the teenage Jew taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar into Babylon Dan. 1:3-6. Though in the land of captivity, Daniel maintained his commitment to God to the very end, which bible scholars approximate to be 65 years Dan. 2:16-19; 6:!-10,22-28.

• Asa.

Asa was one of the kings of Judah, who brought revival to the nation by getting rid of all gods, abominable practices and moved the entire nation into a covenant to serve God 2Chr. 15:7-10,12-19. But scriptures records it that he sustained this fire only for 20 years after which he crashed 2Chr. 16:9,12-13.

The devil does not have respect as it were for anyone, only those who keep themselves are guarantee victory over the devil’s assaults 1Jn. 5:18. It is not by our power or might, but the Spirit of God and the operation of his grace Zch. 4:6-7. Therefore, we all need the grace for continuity to sustain our commitment to the very end, especially in these last days.

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, I place a demand on the grace for that will empower me to remain fervent in my walk with you and kingdom stewardship till my time on earth is over Acts 26:22.

Action.

Place demand for the grace of continuity on your life, and pray this prayer all through today.
