“But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.”

Church growth is the will of God and His heartbeat Lk. 12:32; Mat. 16:18. God has committed Himself to see that His church grows, and this is because the growth of the growth can only be achieved by the salvation of souls Acts 2:47. Remember, the salvation of man is the sole interest of God and the most important on the earth Mat. 16:26; Jn. 3:16. Also, this is one thing the devil is highly interested in, and will do everything to prevent 2Cor. 4:4. Therefore, the growth of the church will be through a battle that will involve silencing the operation of the devil and His powers of darkness against the church Mat. 16:18.

The way of victory over opposition to church growth.

1. Understand that church growth is warfare against the strongholds of hell.

These are not physical forces we are in battle with, but spiritual personalities Eph. 6:12. Hence, our weapons of combat to confront and silence them cannot be physical 2Cor. 10:3-6. And our competence in deploying these weapons is vital to our victory.

• It takes the power of God to stop the strongholds of hell.

The powers of darkness have no respect for any other thing than higher power manifestation Psa. 66:3; Rms. 13:1. In essence, it is the power of God in display, which is the ultimate power, which will make them to bow for the church to experience growth.

• There are the mouths of agents of the devil that must be stopped.

These are physical personalities who are agents of the devil out to scatter the flock of Christ. They operate with words, the best way to render them ineffective is to stop their mouth Isa. 54:14-17; 8:9-10. We saw how Peter stopped the mouth of Simon with the power of God in order to get people saved Acts 8:18-20.

Rise up, we are in harvest season! Every harvest time is work time, but also the time of reward, but that is for everyone that will be part of the harvest. You will not miss your portion of the reward for this season.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, by the blood of the covenant I invoke divine judgment on all opposition to the salvation of men and their ingathering to church this week Exo. 12:12-12,41-42.

Action.

Get on the field again today, and believe God to have greater harvest.
