Memory verse:   

“When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:” 

“But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.”

I think it is good that we ask the question, why church growth? Why the incessant pursuit for church growth? Until a believer can answer this question correctly, he will never be stirred up for church growth. From scriptures, we understand that church growth is the heartbeat of God because it is about getting men saved, gathered into the church, established in God and the church Lk. 12:32; Acts 2:47. Remember the church is first individual believers, hence church growth is replication of each believer in the kingdom 1Cor. 3:9,16; Jn. 15:16. There is a strong opposition to church growth by the powers of darkness Mat. 16:18. To see the church grow, we must understand how to handle this opposition to subdue it.

The way to victory over opposition to church growth.

1. Understand that church growth is warfare.

This warfare is against the gates of hell Mat. 16:18. When these gates of hell are cleared off, the believer is able to replicate himself in the faith and the corporate church will experience growth.

• God’s vengeance must be executed on the enemy.

Until God executed vengeance upon Egypt, Pharaoh never gave up on the Israelite Exo. 11:1-7; 12:12,41-42. The believer must first declare vengeance on the enemy before God can execute it. The believer that will not fail at replicating himself in the faith must keep declaring vengeance on the opposition.

• Put up a fight of faith.

Faith is what moves God into the affairs of a believer, when God moves He silences all oppositions Heb. 11:6; Eph. 6:16. The believer that will replicate himself in the faith must build his faith in God’s word Rms. 10:17.

Every member of this church must be all out this week to deliver his minimum of one new soul for Christ, and get the soul into church this Sunday. Then, expect your reward of 4-level dimension of change as you do.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, by the blood of the covenant I invoke divine judgment on all opposition to the salvation of men and their ingathering to church this week Exo. 12:12-12,41-42.

Action.

Walk round your street today invoking the blood of Jesus for vengeance on all forces holding men down from being saved and coming to church.
