Memory verse:

“And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.”

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you,

that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”

  • 1Jn. 1:4-5.

The scriptures make us to understand that the believer is largely a victim of his misconception and lack of understanding Isa. 5:13; Hos. 4:6. There is this traditional but popular understanding among believers of today, which is that “God is sure but slow”. This is outright unscriptural; it has kept many believers on the hope lane and has robbed them of their rights in Christ Pro. 13:12. The scriptures make is clear that God is light 1Jn. 1:5; Jn. 8:12; 9:5. Light has the characteristic of speed; it is the standard for speed in life. This goes to say that God cannot be light at the same time be slow, it will be a paradox.

Every of God’s dealing with men and His manifestations from the beginning have shown speed. We have been studying these in our teachings this week to establish the truth that the God of the bible is not a low God but the God of speed. I believe God that today’s teaching will open another seal to you.

Scriptural Example of the God of Speed.

  1. God took over the whole of Asia through the ministry of Paul Acts 19:8-20.

Asia is one of the seven continents of the earth. Within the space of just two years the whole of Asia was covered with the gospel through the ministry of Paul the apostle. This is beyond human order of accomplishment, because no man in his natural ability can accomplish such feat within the time frame. Bible record showed that despite the extensive missionary journey of Paul, he was not in every of the cities in Asia personally. Yet the entire continent was taken over, this is the God factor at work. And it was done within a humanly impossible time frame. God shall do it again in this land this time!

We understand from scriptures that the believer has the responsibility to invoke God to speed. One way to do this is by expectation, which must be expressed in fervent intercession and supplication Pro. 23:18; Mk. 11:24. In essence, we can invoke God to make multiply this church with speed by fervent intercession fired by scripture based expectation. Therefore, it is no big deal for God to double the attendance of this church on or before August 1st 2021 in fulfillment of His word concerning Operation By All Means.
