Memory verse:     

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count

 slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should

 perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

• 2Pet. 3:9.

Our understanding of who God is, matters in defining who He manifests Himself to be in our lives as individuals Psa. 91:14. The traditional Christian understanding is that God is sure but slow. But the truth is, our GOD IS NOT SLOW, rather we serve the God if speed 2Pet. 3:9. We only need to understand what to do to experience Him as the God of speed in our lives.

The question is, how can we move God to manifest with God? From scriptures, we understand that engaging the prayer of faith is the covenant way to invoke the God of speed to work Lk. 18:7-8. When we engage the prayer altar with expectation, we move God to manifest with speed concerning our desire.

All through the week, our teaching will be focused on examples of scriptures to establish the truth that our God is the God of speed. Also, to see how the God was invoked to work in each situation, for us to learn the how to experience divine speed.

Scriptural Examples of the God of Speed at Work.

1. Abraham’s servant on the task of securing a wife for Isaac, his master’s son Gen. 24:2-14.18-26.

Abraham servant experienced the God of speed in his search for a wife for Isaac. The speed was in response to his prayer to God for speed. In essence, he understood that God is not slow in his works, He operates with speed. And he placed a demand on God for this, and he experience speed that was supernatural. This proofs that indeed we serve the God of speed!

Now, concerning church growth, scriptures make us to understand that the God of speed can make the earth to bring for the in a day and a nation to be born at once Isa. 66:7-8. This is supernatural speed. And it will answer to us as we engage the altar of prayer with faith for growth in the church. Therefore, it is nothing with God to double the attendance of this church on or before May 2 2021.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, give us the heathen in Calabar as our inheritance in this assembly and the utmost part of this land as our possession, thereby making the double attendance prophetic word to come to speedy fulfillment Psa. 2:8.

Action.

Set the target of wonder-double growth now, and build your faith to receive and believe it.
