Memory verse:   

 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”

• Pro. 23:7.

Stewardship is the covenant platform in the kingdom for kingdom citizens to maximize the great benefits available Exo. 23:25. It is the most profitable venture on the earth. In essence, in the kingdom each one is the main determinant of his outcome in life, by ones commitment to service Lk. 22;25-27. But fundamentally, the mind or heart plays a vital role in the result our efforts and input delivers in life Pro. 4;23; 23:7. This is because the mind is the eyes of life; it sets the pace for the result our effort will generate Mat. 6:22; Gen. 13:14-15,16-17. Therefore, we need to possess the right mindset in order to enjoy due profits for our kingdom engagement.

The Scriptural Mindset a Believer must Possess for Profits in Life.

1. We must possess an appointment mentality.

How does kingdom stewardship relate to appointment?

1. The scriptures show us that everyone on the go for Christ was appointed by Christ Lk. 10:1; Jn. 15:16. In essence, every soul winner has a spiritual appointment letter for the task of soul winning. This understanding is vital to be productive and profitable in our engagement.
2. In every establishment, appointment entitles the beneficiary to wages, remuneration or rewards Mat. 20:6-9; Jn. 4:35-36. Therefore, the understanding that we are on appointment qualifies us for divine wages which cannot be compared to any earthly appointment.
3. This means that the believer that commits to soul winning has a file in heaven records, and by his engagement he is fulfilling the duty to which he was appointed for. Therefore, he is on God’s payroll and guaranteed divine rewards as at when due 1Cor. 9:16; Gal. 6:9.

When an individual receives an appointment letter from a reputable establishment that pays well, he will not need an encouragement to go to work daily in the 30 days of the month. In the same way, an appointment will make the believer self-motivated in stewardship Lk. 10:1,7; 22:35.

Father in the name of Jesus, by the blood of Jesus purge my heart of everything that has robbed me of my due reward, and make my heart new for profitable service from today Heb. 9:14.
