Memory verse:
“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,”
“Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Acts 2:46-47.
A revival is the move of the Spirit of God among believers and unbelievers alike that results in the heart of men panting after God like never before Acts 2:1-4,37-38,42,46. This is why every revival does not leave people the same; it always results in the advancement of men’s destiny Jer. 30:19-21. But it is not everyone that benefits from a revival, only the faithful and fruitful believer Lk. 19:17-19.
The benefits of committing to a revival?
- Every move of the Spirit engenders all-round rest.
From scriptures we see that every time the Spirit of God moves men and they respond appropriately, the storm is calmed in their lives 2Chr. 15:3-15.
- Every move of God turns believers into entities of attraction.
When God comes into the midst of a people, they experience supernatural change of story and status making them to emerge as the envy in life Zch. 8:20-23; Isa. 62:6-12.
- God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants.
The scriptures make us to understand, it is God’s delight to make everyone serving Him to prosper irrespective of their status or the situation Psa. 35:27; Psa. 40:16.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father by the power of the Holy Spirit, multitude shall be turned to God and established in the kingdom through me in this revival season Acts 1:8.
