Memory verse:

“To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”                             Acts. 1:3.

We understand from scriptures that the way to make the most of life as a kingdom citizen is by the understanding of times as ordained by God. and aligning with the time 1Chr. 12:32. We have established from scriptures that we are in a time referred to as Post-resurrection prophetic season. This is forty (40) days after Christ’s resurrection that He appears to His disciples, this is generally known as divine encounter Acts 1:3. Every divine encounter will always result in the dramatic change of the story of man 2Cor. 3:18.

Positioning for divine encounter with the resurrected Christ.

  1. One must engage in the study of God’s word.

The scriptures make us to understand that Christ is the word and dwells in the word Jn. 1:1-3,14. Therefore, one guaranteed way to position for His experience is by digging into the word of God until one see Him 2Cor. 3:18; 1Sam. 3:21.

  1. One must maintain a meek and quiet spirit.

A meek and quiet spirit is of great price before God, and attracts God naturally to a believer 1Pet. 3:4. This has to be cultivated by individuals, it is not what one pray for as it were. Therefore, everyone that desires encounter with the resurrected Christ must cultivate a meek and quiet spirit like Moses Num. 12:3.

  1. Understand that God can appear to man anywhere and at any time.

All over the scriptures we saw God appeared to men in the least of expected places. Peter had an encounter with the resurrected Christ while going about His fishing business Jn. 21:3-5. If God did it to Peter, He will do it again to anyone who prepares himself for encounter with Him Mk. 13:37.

Jesus is Lord!

      I think what you need:
      i) Spend more time to think on what you read than just mere reading.
ii) Spend few moments periodically as you go about your day to reflect on what you studied in the bible.
iii) Invest quality time to pray on the things you learn from God’s word.
iv) Be intentional in practicing the things you learn from God’s word immediately.
I believe that If you do these things, you will overcome the challenge of wandering thoughts and polluted thoughts.
      God bless you.
