Memory verse:

“To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”                                          Acts. 1:3.

After that Jesus resurrected, for forty (40) days, He kept appearing to His disciples Acts 1:3. Every of His appearance was with proofs that indeed He is risen and alive. From scriptures, we know that Jesus is the same, and will do what He did again and again Heb. 13:8; Mal. 3:6. In essence, the resurrected Jesus will again be appearing to His disciples with proofs in the next forty (40) days. This is what we call divine encounter, and every of such opens a new chapter in the life of the believer 2Cor. 3:18.

Positioning for divine encounter with the resurrected Christ.

  1. One must be spiritual.

God is a Spirit, and also the resurrected Christ Jn. 4:24. It takes a believer that is spiritual to encounter Him 1Cor. 2:14. Carnality is an arch enemy to encounter with Christ, we must get rid of it not to miss out of this prophetic season 1Cor. 3:1-3.

  1. One must stay in love with God

Love will always attract one to his beloved. In essence, when God’s love is established in a believer and validated by appropriate action, God will be naturally drawn to that believer Jn. 14:21. An encounter with the resurrected Christ becomes normal with the love of God in the believer 1Kgs. 3:3-5.

  1. Understand that encounter can happen anywhere.

Encounter with God is not limited to certain places, it can happen anywhere the believer is set for it. For instance, Abraham has his encounter with God on an ordinary day Gen. 12:1-4. As a seed of Abraham, watch out for encounters at all times in this season Gal. 3:13-14,29; Mk. 13:37.

Jesus is Lord!
