By redemption, every child of God is ordained to be fruitful in life Deu. 7:12-14; Gen. 1:27-28. In essence, fruitfulness is a vital feature of the heritage of the believer. The covenant of fruitfulness covers every aspect of the believer’s life, these include:

  • Fruitfulness in marriage or of the womb.
    • Fruitfulness in the work of the hands; business, career, profession etc.
    • Fruitfulness of the mind, which result in the birth of ideas.
    • Fruitfulness of the body, which means strength even at old age, wholeness etc.

Remember, we serve the God of covenant who does everything with His children on the covenant platform Psa. 89:34. Therefore, our fruitfulness is going to be by covenant practice.

What are the Covenant Demands for fruitfulness?

  1. Be born again.

Be new birth, the believer is delivered from curses and connecting to Abraham’s blessing Gal. 3:13-14; Psa. 5:12. Fruitfulness is a product of the blessing Gen. 1:28; Deu. 7:14. Therefore, after a man becomes born again, his fruitfulness is settled.

  • Believe God for your fruitfulness.

In this kingdom, no matter the promise one will only experience what are can believe for Mat. 9:27-29. Faith is the spiritual force with which we move God to perform what He has promised Lk. 1:45; Heb. 11:6. Also, faith is the kingdom force that will crush every force resisting the fruitfulness of the believer Eph. 6:16. Therefore, when the faith of the believer comes alive concerning his fruitfulness, bareness ends!

  • Be filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Ghost is God’s power that makes for supernatural fruitfulness Lk. 1:34-35. When the Holy Spirit comes on anyone on anything, bareness is turned to supernatural fruitfulness Isa. 32:15. The Holy Spirit makes the believer to conceive and deliver.

  • Commit to pursuit after God.

The pursuit after God means seeking for God; to know more of Him, for deeper experience and fellowship, and to see His kingdom advancement and enlargement Mat. 6:33. The pursuit of God is the key to the world of all-round supernatural fruitfulness 2Chr. 15:12-15; 26:1-14; Exo. 23:25-26.

  • Commit to the lifestyle of thanksgiving and praise.

Thanksgiving and praise are covenant forces that invoke God on the behalf of the believer Psa. 22:3. Every time God is stirred up, every opposition is crushed and every of the believer’s right that he has been denied are instantly delivered Psa. 114:1-8; 68:1-2.

  • Commit to joy and rejoicing as a lifestyle.

Joy is a covenant force for fruitfulness Isa. 54:1-3. The devil steals the joy of men to rob them of the capacity for fruitfulness Joel 1:11-12. Joy is a fruit of the Spirit that has to be personally cultivated if a believer will manifest it Gal. 5:22-23. Therefore, every believer that desires to experience all-round fruitfulness must keep rejoicing 1Sam. 1:13-19; Rms. 4:17-20.

  • Remain planted in God’s house.

God’s house is a mysterious place, with certain forces of the Spirit continually at work there Heb. 12:22-24. These forces forbid bareness and guarantee the supernatural fruitfulness of the believer Psa. 84:7; 144:14. In essence, commitment to God’s house makes the believer to become supernaturally fruitful even till old age Psa. 92:14-15.

In conclusion, every believer is ordained for fruitfulness, and nothing is permitted to stop this. I therefore declare your all-round fruitfulness from now!

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, bareness is terminated in my life now Isa. 32:15.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, I shall bring forth my fruit in the appropriate season from today Psa. 1:3.
