Life is a function of the help of God; the Holy Spirit is the helper (Psa. 60:11-12; Jn. 14:16-18,26). He helps by giving access to all our inheritances in the kingdom, He does this through His diverse manifestations and multifaceted engracement (Heb. 10:29; 1Cor. 15:10).

The Diverse Graces of the Holy Spirit.

1. The Holy Spirit is the Seal of Our Protection.

As the seal of our protection, the Holy Spirit shields us against every assault of the wicked (Eph. 1:13; Isa. 59:19). By this, believers have the guarantee of absolute safety all through life (Eph. 4:30).

Why Do We Need the Spirit of Love?

1. We Live in a Wicked World.

The earth has dark places; it covers virtually everywhere (Isa. 60:1). This makes the earth full of cruelty, evil, and wickedness (Psa. 74:20; 1Jn. 5:18-19). This is why we need the seal of our protection, making us not to be a victim (Ezk. 9:6).

2. We are in a Battle with Spiritual Forces.

There are forces in the unseen realm that believers battle against (Psa. 91:5-7; Eph. 6:12). The Holy Spirit as the seal of our protection is one of the weapons of our warfare against these forces (2Cor. 10:3-5).

3. Power is the Only Thing the Enemy Respect and Answer to.

We need power to overcome the forces of wickedness (Psa. 66:3; Lk. 10:1-2,19). This power is the Holy Spirit as the seal of our protection (Psa. 105:13-15).

Access to the Seal of Our Protection.

1. Be Genuinely Born Again.

Only those who have experienced true salvation through Christ gain access to the grace of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:37-38; 8:12-13,18-23). True salvation is simply by acknowledging the truth of one’s state of sinfulness, repentance, and asking Christ to take over one’s life (1Jn. 3:8-10).

2. Following Holy Spirit Leading.

Walking by the leading of the Holy Spirit invokes the seal of our protection on a believer against all assaults of the wicked (Psa. 23:1-6; Num. 9:15-23).

3. Maintain Fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Staying in fellowship with the Holy Spirit keeps a believer in the secret place, where no wickedness can touch him (Psa. 91:1; Isa. 1:19).

4. Declare Divine Protection.

Spoken words determine what happens in the physical (Jms. 3:2-6). Declaring divine protection secures the seal of protection over one’s life (Psa. 91:2; Mk. 11:23).

5. Refuse to Be Afraid.

Fear robs of protection, while confidence in God secures and reinforces the seal our protection (Job 3:24-25; Rms. 8:15; 2Tim. 1:7).

6. Stay in Love with God.

Love for God secures the seal of our protection over a believer’s life; this is because touching a beloved of God is like touching the apple of His eyes (Psa. 91:14; Zch. 2:8).

7. Invoke the Name of Jesus.

Calling the name of Jesus when challenged invokes the seal of our protection upon a believer (Psa. 91:14-15; Pro. 18:10).

Conclusion.

One can make the remaining days of his life on the earth free of every form of evil simply by invoking the Holy Spirit as the seal of our protection. Over to you!

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer aloud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. You died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, my sins are forgiven; I am justified by your blood; I am born-again; I am saved; I am a child of God; I am free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

Father, empower me by the Holy Spirit to embrace the covenant demands for the seal of our protection on my life (Ezk. 36:27).

Father, by the seal of our protection of the Holy Spirit, every assault of the enemy against my life shall fail from today (Psa. 105:13-15).
