Wisdom is described in scripture as the principal thing in life; this means the first thing an individual must acquire for other things to work (Pro. 4:7-9). Even God went after wisdom before He did anything at the beginning (Pro. 8:22). The lack of wisdom is behind struggles, failure, frustration and all negative experiences in life (Pro. 21:16).

Understanding Who a Believer is By Redemption.

What we don’t know, we must be willing to learn. What we are not willing to learn, is what we must be ready to suffer for (Hos. 4:6).

1. Redeemed to Create Solutions and not Problems.

Redemption turns a believer into an individual with answers to problems (Mat. 5:13).

2. Redeemed as Asset and not a Liability.

Redemption turns believers into individuals who add value and upgrade in life (Mat. 5:14-16).

3. Redeemed a Blessing and not a Burden.

By redemption a believer is empowered, enabling him to impart power resulting in positive changes wherever he is found (Gen. 12:1-2; Jn. 1:12).

4. Redeemed a Distributor and not a Beggar.

Redemption empowers for selflessness that makes a believer a die-hard giver, which rescues him from begging in life (Mat. 25:31-40).

5. Redeemed for Triumphant Living and not for Defeat.

Believers receive Christ, the head of principalities and powers at redemption; this makes him walk in triumph against every opposition in life (2Cor. 2:14),

6. Redeemed an Overcomer not a Loser.

At redemption, a believer is now born of God, this turns him into an overcomer in life (1Jn. 5:4).

How to Actualize and Sustain the Believer’s Ordained Status in Reality.

It is one thing to be born again, and another to experience the reality of who a believer is ordained to be practically (Jos. 18:3). What does it take for all of the things mentioned to become reality and be sustained?

1. Recognize that By Redemption Christ is Now Resident in a Believer.

Christ is now resident in a believer; He is the power and WISDOM of God now residing in a  believer by reason of redemption (1Cor. 1:24). This means that a believer now has God’s wisdom fully residing in him.

2. Recognize that By Redemption a Believer has Unlimited Access to God’s Word.

The word of God is the wisdom of God in print, which is now resident in a believer (Lk. 11:49). This gives him unlimited access to God’s word, resulting in unlimited access to spiritual understanding, and consequently, unlimited access to wisdom (Mk. 4:11).

3. Stay in Love with God.

The love of God gives believers unrestricted access to all that God has, including His wisdom (Jn. 15:14-15). By this, a believer continues to experience the reality of all that redemption offers (1Cor. 2:9-10).

4. Remain Filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit teaches believers all things, brings all things to his remembrance, and shows him things to come; all of these make things ordained come to pass without struggle (Jn. 14:26; 16:13-14). This makes baptism with the Holy Spirit an when a believer is filled with the Holy Spirit – very vital – and this state of being filled must be continually maintained.

Conclusion.

We live in a world made through wisdom; it takes wisdom to experience the best of life in it. Lack of wisdom makes life on earth miserable and full of frustration.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

1. Father, endow me with grace by Your Spirit to pay the price for access to wisdom from above (Zch. 4:6-7).
2. Father, by the help of the Holy Spirit, I tap into God’s wisdom and shall walk in it from now (1Cor. 2:10).
