Most sicknesses and diseases are not mere physiological disorder; they are direct oppression of the devil Acts 19:11-12; Mat. 8:16-17.

Some Scriptural Cases to Validate this.

i) Job – it was Satan who smote Job with boils, which many took for ordinary or natural occurrence Job 2:7.

ii) Peter’s Mother-in-Law – Jesus rebuked the fever, and she was made whole 8:14-15.

iii) The woman who was bent over for 18 years – scripture says she had the spirit of infirmity; it was not spinal or neuro disorder, but satanic oppression. Jesus loosed her from the captivity 13;11-16.

I believe, this is the reason some sicknesses are incurable by medical practice. The good news is that Jesus went about healing ALL MANNER OF SICKNESSES AND DISEASES, as He casts out evil spirit with His word Mat. 4:23; 8:16; Acts 10:38. Further, Jesus gave His disciples power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases, which empowered them to heal every sickness, every disease, everywhere Lk. 9:1-6; Mat. 10:1. Believers of now only need the understanding of this power, which refers to our weapon of warfare, to walk in dominion over sickness and disease like the disciples of Christ 2Cor. 10:3-6.

One of the Weapons for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

1. The Name of Jesus.

The name of Jesus is not just a nomenclature to identify a person; it is a potent weapon of warfare for believers. When the name of Jesus is engaged effectively, it guarantees comprehensive salvation, including every sickness and disease Acts 4:10-12; 3:5-8.

How the Name of Jesus Empowers for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

1. The Name of Jesus is Full of Wonders, Including Healing wonders.

When engaged, healing virtues are released resulting in instant healing, health, and wholeness of anyone who believes Isa. 9:6; Acts 4:9-10; 9:34-36.

2. The Name of Jesus is laden with Anointing.

Whenever the name of Jesus is called, we are releasing the unction and anointing on the name into the situation, which goes forth to attract the things our lives needs that the Father has supplied SOS 1:3; Eph. 1:3.

3. The Name of Jesus is God’s Irrevocable Gift to Believers.

When the name of Jesus is engaged with the understanding of being a gift of the Father, whatever that has a name and every knee bows; including sickness, disease, oppression etc. to establish the dominion of believers Php. 2:9-11. This gift is still actively in force today Rms. 11:29; 2Kgs. 13:20-21.

4. The Name of Jesus is Also loaded with Power and Authority.

The power in the name is manifested when the name is called, which makes demons and foul spirits to be cast out at the instance, resulting in healing, health, and wholeness of believers Mk. 16:17; Lk. 10:17-19.

5. The Name of Jesus is a Strong Tower.

Whatever is the threat of evil, when the name of Jesus is invoked, believers are shielded and the evil loses the power to touch his life Pro. 18:10.

6. Anointing the Sick with Oil in the Name of Jesus Releases Power for Healing.

Every sickness is guaranteed healing, no matter the intensity or severity, when it is anointed with oil in the name of Jesus Jms. 5:14-15; Mk. 6:7,12-13.

Requirements that Make the Name of Jesus to Work.

1. Engage the Name in Prayer.

Every prayer made in the name of Jesus is guaranteed to command answer instantly Mat. 7:7-8; Jn. 16:23-24.

2. Engage the Name in Faith.

When the name is invoked in faith, it delivers desired miracles instantly Acts 3:16; Jms. 4:2.
