Curses are real Gen. 3:17-19. They are forces in the unseen realm that work at the failure of an individual no matter the effort made. These forces when released will keep working from one generation to another, with a life span of 3-4 generations, which is 300 to 400 hundred years Gen. 15:13-16; Exo. 20:3-5. The good news is that curses can be broken, and they are reversible.
Covenant Forces for Break Curses.
- Be born again.
The death of Christ on the cross is to terminate curses in the life of man, and qualify man for God’s blessings Gal. 3:13-14. Therefore, the first step to terminate curses in a man’s life is to accept Christ into one’s life. How? By godly sorrow for sin, repentance and decision to live for Christ.
- Be committed to serving God.
God’s blessing is the solution to curses; when God blesses, curses are supernaturally and automatically averted Num. 23:20; Deut. 28:1-2,6-7. Serving God by committing to kingdom advancement endeavours is the guaranteed way to God’s blessings. In essence, serving God will avert curses on a life.
- Speak right words.
Our mouth is a weapon God intentionally gave to man; and it is to determine his life and chart the course of his destiny Pro. 18:21; Psa.34:12-13.The words that proceed from the believer’s mouth will determine whether his life is blessed or cursed. When a believer commits to pronouncing only blessing from his mouth, curses are averted on his life.
- Be committed to giving.
Giving is another way to invoke God’s blessings on one’s life Acts 20:35; Mal. 3:10-11. In essence, giving will avert curses on a man’s life. This is why the life of none giver is hard, and gets harder, because he has given room for curses to work.
- Connect to your God ordained prophet.
God ordained His servant over the lives of men, among other things is to invoke the blessing on their lives Num. 6:22-27. As God’s blessing is invoked by the priest through his pronouncements, God become committed to confirm them in the believer’s life Isa. 44:26. Therefore, to avert curses, one must stay connected to the God ordained priest over one’s life, receive every pronouncement of blessing from such.
In conclusion, it’s true that curses are real, but they are reversible. Also, curses are not as strong, and cannot survive at the face of blessing. Therefore, by the blessing of God every curse that you may have suffered is broken now!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”
Prayer.
- Father in the name of Jesus, by the death and resurrection of Christ, every curse on my life is broken now Gal. 3:13-14.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to give myself tirelessly to the forces for invoking blessing, thereby resulting in the breaking of every curse on my life Num. 23:20.
