Fruitfulness is God’s design for man by creation Gen. 1:28. Particularly, as seeds of Abraham,, we are redeemed to be fruitful Deut. 7:14; Gal. 3:29. This fruitfulness is all-round: of the body (health, strength, good old age); of the hand (being productively engaged, flourishing business, career, profession, financial liberty); of the womb (child bearing, bringing forth children as desired).
Two Provisions in Scriptures that Guarantees Fruitfulness.
When these two are in place, fruitfulness is sure. In essence, one does not need to pursue after fruitfulness, rather go for these two and your fruitfulness will become automatic.
- God’s blessing Gen. 1:28; Deut. 7:14.
In the beginning, God blessed man and said now you can be fruitful. By the blessing, man does to need special prayer again to bring forth.
- The power of the highest Lk. 1:31,34-35.
The power is the defined as the ability to do or make a thing happen. In essence, with God’s power for fruitfulness on an individual, the ability to bring forth his desire is imparted him.
We must remember that we serve the God of covenant Psa. 89:34. When we discover God’s covenant and walk in it, we are guaranteed what He has provided Gen. 17:1-2; Jer. 33:20-21.
Covenant Demands for fruitfulness.
These demands guarantee the release of God’s blessing and power for fruitfulness.
- The practice of righteousness Psa. 5:12.
God is committed to bless the righteous, thereby making him to be fruitful all round in life. One does not pray for blessing, we walk in righteousness to be blessed.
- Commitment to serving God and the interest of His kingdom Exo. 23:25-26; Psa. 127:3.
Fruitfulness is presented in scriptures as a reward from God. God’s reward is received through the platform of service.
- Live by the word of God Heb. 1:3; 4:12; Jms. 1:25.
God’s word contains God’s power and blessing. When a believer locates his word and lives by it, his fruitfulness becomes unstoppable.
- Be planted in God’s house Psa. 92:12-15.
God house is a mysterious place, with certain forces that turn any believer that is planted there to an empowered person. In essence, as long as we are planted in the house of God, we continue to bear fruits even until old age.
- Joy and rejoicing Joel 1:11-12; Isa. 54:1-2; Rms. 4:17-20.
Joy and rejoicing is a spiritual qualification for God’s blessing and power, which results into supernatural fruitfulness. For everyone desiring fruitfulness in whatever area of life, just celebrate God every moment from now and watch as you will bring forth without any further delay.
In conclusion, our heavenly Father is the baby-maker; we cannot be a baby-beggar Psa. 100:3; 139:14; Jer. 1:5.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”
Prayer.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I curse the yoke of bareness and unfruitfulness to wither in my life right now Matt. 21:19; Mk. 11:13-14,21.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I am a seed of Abraham blessed by the Lord, therefore I am bringing forth my fruits as I desire henceforth Deut. 7:14.
