“To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”                             Acts 1:3.

We serve the God of plans and purpose, who has His definite purpose for every event on the earth Ecc. 3:1-8; 8:6. Therefore, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is not mere event for history, or just for definition of time on the earth. From scriptures, we understand that the resurrection of Christ opens the seal to the realm of the supernatural for children of God. For forty (40) days after Jesus resurrected, He was showing Himself alive to His disciples with many infallible proofs; miracles, signs, and wonders Acts 1:3. And according to the scripture, many of those signs could not be recorded Jn. 20:30.

Four Outstanding Miracles that Resurrection Brought.

1. The eye-opening miracle.

The mission of the devil is to blindfold men, thereby prevent them from seeing in life 2Cor. 4:4. The devil as ti were has the legal stand for this because God Himself has placed a veil between man and Himself. At the death and resurrection of Jesus, the veil in the temple was torn in twain Mat. 27:50-51. This provides the opportunity for all to access the treasures behind the veil Heb. 9:1-4. The effect of this include:

19. ii) Access to divine secrets that makes stars 2:16-18,23-30,46; 1Cor. 2:9-10.

2. The grave opening miracle.

The resurrection of Jesus caused graves to open, dead saints came out of the graves, and appeared to many in the city Mat. 27:50,53. This was a clear fulfilment of Ezekiel’s prophecy Ezk. 37:10-14. The grave signify anything that holds a man down against his will, and won’t permit his progress in life. This is what the resurrection of Jesus clears off, when a man connects.

3. The empowerment miracle

When Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, he breathed on them, thereby releasing the Holy Spirit on them Jn. 20:22. This is supernatural empowerment that enables the believer to take command in the world of the supernatural Acts 4:33. It is our power level that determines our place in life, because everything answer to power in life Psa. 66:3; 7. This power s what the resurrection of Christ offers to mankind.

4. The breakthrough miracle.

After Jesus’ resurrection, He appeared to His disciples who had toiled all night and caught no fish Jn. 21:3-5. With just an instruction to cast the net to the right side, the disciples had supernatural breakthrough as they caught much fishes Jn. 21:6-9. Another miracle in the disciple’s experience is that despite the much fishes caught, their net didn’t break Jn. 21:11.

What to Expect in this Easter Miracle Banquet.

We serve the God who specializes in doing whatever He has done over and again Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8. Therefore, God can do the miracle that the resurrection of Christ brought again for anyone who desires and will believe Mk. 9:23.
