There is whom God created each person to be and what to do; these are contained in His plan and purpose for the individual (Jer. 29:11). These have to be discovered, called vision; the discovery is personal and is either by encounter with God or through God’s word (Hab. 2:1-3; Psa. 119:105). The reason for struggle and frustration, often, is when one is pursuing what is different from what one is created for.
Why Do We Need Vision?
- To Understand Our Worth as Individuals.
Just as the value of a product is determined in the factory by the manufacturer, not in the market; in the same vein, the value of each person is determined by God (Psa. 139:14; Rms. 9:16). Vision defines the worth or value of the life of each person (Jer. 1:5).
- To Emerge a Frontliner in Life.
Vision secures God’s backing; we establish this from scripture last week (1Ths. 5:24; Mat. 28:19-20). God’s backing makes any dummy emerge a frontliner in the race of life (Rms. 9:16).
How to Access God’s Vision for Our Lives.
- Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
One vital mission of the Holy Spirit is guiding believers into all truth (Jn. 16:13). But it takes sensitivity of believers, which implies careful attention that enables one pick and perceive everything the Holy Spirit communicates, to receive Holy Spirit guidance, (Rev. 1:10).
- Engage the Mystery of Praise.
Praise is a kingdom mystery that invokes God to speak, manifest, or intervene in a believer’s life (Isa. 30:29-20; Psa. 67:5-7). This means that engaging the mystery of praise guarantees access to vision.
Biblical Proofs of a True Vision.
These are ways to ascertain that the vision one has received is truly from God.
- God Works with You.
When we pursue God’s plan, He is committed to working with us, to ensure the delivery of what He has commanded (Mk. 16:20; 1Cor. 3:6,9).
- God Works Through You.
When we on the path of vision, God works through us; this means we operate with His ability that makes us deliver results far beyond our natural capacity (Jer. 14:10; Php. 2:13).
- We Enjoy Refreshing.
Vision secures God’s manifest presence; this makes believers enjoy supernatural refreshing all the way (Exo. 33:13-14; Psa. 23:1-3).
Conclusion.
Each one of us has no reason to struggle in life; this is because we are created for greatness, and have the path to greatness mapped out for us already (Gen. 1:27). All we need is to accept responsibility, which includes discovery of vision and commitment to keep pursuing it for life (Jer. 29:11).
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, reveal your plan and purpose for my life on the earth to me right now, thereby turning my life to a wonder among men from now (Jer. 33:3).
- Father, by your Spirit, empower me to receive, believe, and pursue my God given vision to fulfilment (Hab. 2:3).

This world we live in is made through wisdom; it is same wisdom that will give anyone his place in it (Psa. 104:24; Pro. 3:19; 4:7-9). If wisdom made the world and everything in it, then wisdom will make your life, no matter what it looks like now (Ecc. 8:1). Four Kinds of Wisdom. In […]
Dominion over all things in life is God’s original plan for man (Gen. 1:26-28). This was lost at the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, which Christ restored by His death and resurrection (Jn. 10:10). Demands for Restoration of Our Total Health. There are covenant prescriptions for the restoration of total health of […]
Believers of the end-time are ordained to walk in dominion in all spheres of life, particularly over sickness, disease, and afflictions (Dan. 7:27; Isa. 33:24). Dominion is a function of power; the power level will determine the level of dominion a believer will walk in (Isa. 25:6-8; Psa. 30:5). There are kingdom instruments or weapons […]
We have established from scripture that believers are ordained to walk in dominion over sicknesses and diseases (Isa. 33:24). There are kingdom provisions for making this a reality, one of them is the mystery of the communion (Jn. 6:53-57). How Does Holy Communion Empower for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease? The communion is a supernatural […]
