Man is a product of God; this simply means every man is made by God (Psa. 100:3; Gen. 1:26-27). Just like every manufacturer has a purpose for each of his products, God has a clearly defined plan and purpose for each person He created (Jer. 1:5; Gal. 1:15-16; Eph. 1:3-5,11-12). Vision is one way God reveals His plan and purpose to His children; by encounter with God like in the case of Moses and Paul (Exo. 3:7-10; Acts 9:1-6). The other way God reveals His plan and purpose is revelation; this comes through God’s Word (Psa. 119:105).
Why Do We Need Vision?
This refers to the significance or importance of vision.
- To Be Delivered from Experiencing Frustration.
Without a proven vision, life remains an adventure of frustration (Pro. 29:18; Isa. 42:23-24). This is because, outside of vision, an individual is left with only his brain to decide his path and steps in life; it is highly limited, full of assumptions, trials, and errors; resulting in frustration (Pro. 14:12; 16:25).
How to Access God’s Vision for Our Lives.
- Be Meek.
Meekness is the quality of being open to correction and willingness to learn (Mat. 11:29). This is vital for God to reveal His plan and purpose to an individual (Psa. 25:9; Num. 12:1-3).
- Cultivate a Serene Environment.
Quietness is essential for accessing God’s voice, guidance, His plan and purpose for one’s life, this makes a serene environment a must (1Kgs. 19:11-12; 1Ths. 4:11). Noise robs believers of accessing vision and guidance from God; we must learn to separate ourselves from noise, both externally and internally (Pro. 18:1).
Biblical Proofs of a True Vision.
These are ways to ascertain that the vision one has received is truly from God.
- True Vision Guarantee Increasing Results.
When a vision is truly from God, there will be results to show right from the beginning, though it might be small (Zch. 4:10; Pro. 7:8). As we keep pursuit of the vision, results will be increasing in dimensions (Jn. 10:5; 1Kgs. 8:15).
- True Vision Imparts Divine Strength.
When the vision is genuine and truly from God, the person enjoys divine strength that enables him to pursue till accomplishment (1Kgs. 18:46; Joel 2:1-8). This means that when it is a true vision, one will not know weakness in the process of pursuit.
- True Vision Stirs Joy Within.
One basic and consistent thing about God is joy. When a vision is truly of God, it will stir joy within the person (Psa. 16:11; 89:15; Heb. 12:2). When joy is absent, or there is a feeling of frustration and the like, there is a need to check the source of the vision.
Conclusion.
Don’t live your life by assumption; there is God’s plan and purpose for you. It has the guarantee of glory and greatness when we accept responsibility to discover and pursue it.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, reveal your plan and purpose for my life on the earth to me, thereby turning my life into a wonder among men from now (Jer. 33:3).
- Father, by your Spirit, empower me to receive, believe, and pursue my God given vision to fulfilment (Hab. 2:3).

We have established from scripture that believers are ordained to walk in dominion over sicknesses and diseases (Isa. 33:24). There are kingdom provisions for making this a reality, one of them is the mystery of the communion (Jn. 6:53-57). How Does Holy Communion Empower for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease? The communion is a supernatural […]
Dominion is God’s will for man from the beginning (Gen. 1:28). Man lost it at the fall, but redemption empowered him again for dominion in life (Jn. 1:12; Eph. 1:19-21). Particularly, the end-time church by God’s agenda is ordained to walk in absolute dominion before Christ returns (Dan. 7:27). One vital area of this dominion […]
Thanksgiving is a commandment of God and an instruction of scripture to believers at all times (Mal. 2:1-2; Jer. 13”15-16; 1Ths. 5:18). Every commandment of God and scriptural instruction is for the benefit of believers who obey; this makes thanksgiving a must for everyone who desires a life of profits (2Tim. 3:16-17). What Are We […]
God’s will for every believer is financial fortune, thus making it the heritage for every true child of God (3Jn. 2: Rev. 5:12). Every believer who will experience this heritage in reality has the responsibility to engage kingdom demand, which is the practice of the covenant (Deu. 8:18; Jer. 33:20-21). What is a Covenant? A […]
