Memory verse:
“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.” Deu. 2:24.
Scripture refers to the devil as the god of this world 2Cor. 4:4; Jn. 14:30. This is an indication that every man yet to come under the authority of Christ through new birth is his captive. To get such individuals out of Satan’s captivity demand that believers must put up a fight against the powers of darkness and win the fight Lk. 11:21-22. This is why soul winning will only become an exciting and fruitful engagement when we give it a warfare approach.
How to Win the Warfare for Souls.
- Understand that Soul Winning Demands Empowerment.
As we have established, Satan is the arch-enemy of soul winning 2Cor. 4:4. Therefore, it takes endowment with power for believers to be effective in the exercise Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:8.
- Prayer is a Must to Subdue the Enemy.
We must engage in prayer for those targeted for salvation, for them to be rescued from the kingdom of darkness Rms. 10:1; Col. 1:12-14. Prayer is a must to disarm the enemy holding the unsaved as captives.
- We must Continue in Prayer to Retain the People.
Continuity in engaging the prayer altar is a must for us to stop our converts from going back to their old life 2Pet. 2:20-22; Col. 4:12; Gal. 4:19.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I take authority over every devil holding the heart of men captive, I decree the hold of such is destroyed, for the mass salvation of men across our harvest field this week Lk. 11:21-22.
Action.
Pray for all your converts of this year that Christ ne formed in them.
Priestly Blessings.
Every manipulation of the devil over our converts is declared null and void!
All of our converts of this year shall be grounded in Christ for life!
