Memory verse:

“Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”       – Mat. 22:36-40.

We have established from Scripture that the benefits of service rendered by an individual primarily accrue to the one serving Job 36:11; Lk. 22:25-27. Particularly, serving God adds nothing to Him or His kingdom, because our God is the Lord and does not change Mal. 3:6. Serving God is a choice each person makes; our choices impact our lives foremost Deu. 28:1-2. This is why we say that serving God is essentially for our benefit.

The Benefits of Serving God that Proves Believers are the Beneficiary.

  1. Serving God Guarantees Healing, Health, and Wholeness.

When a vehicle and equipment serve their purpose well and deliver good result, the vehicle will be well maintained by the owner. In the same way, when a believer is committed to serving God and His kingdom, God, in return, keeps sickness away, and ensure health and wholesome 2Cor. 5:17-20; Jn 15:1-2; Pro. 13:17.

  1. Serving God Subdues Devils Under Us.

One enemy of every person, particularly believers, is the devil; he is never on break but keeps going about to devour 1Pet. 5:8. He is at the root of every evil occurrence, mishap, and oppression. Serving God is the believer’s guarantee to subdue the devil under their feet Rms. 16:20; Lk. 10:17-19; 9:1.
