Memory verse:
“Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” – Mat. 22:36-40.
Serving God is identified as the most rewarding venture on earth, but many have the misconception that God, the church, and pastors are the ones who benefit Jer. 23:33-34. Scripture shows us that our God is the I AM THAT I AM; He remains the same whether we serve Him or not Mal. 3:6; Exo. 3:14. However, everything a man does is a seed, and whatever one sows is what he reaps Gen. 8:22. This means that serving God benefits principally the one serving.
The Benefits of Serving God that Proves Believers are the Beneficiary.
- Serving God Guarantees Pacesetting Order of Returns.
Going after souls for Christ is the capital proof of one’s love for God, which is the ultimate of serving God Jn. 21:15-17; 3:16. Love for God empowers for what eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, nor conceived by man’s heart 1Cor. 2:9. This means that serving God positions a believer for pacesetting order of benefits.
- Serving God Puts Believers in Command of the Supernatural.
Serving God by securing souls for Christ invokes God’s manifestation on believers Mat. 28:19-20. God’s manifest presence is the key to the world of the supernatural Psa. 114:1-7. This is why everyone genuinely serving God always has command of the supernatural Mk. 16:20.
