The new birth translates the believer from the natural into the supernatural realm Col. 1:13-14. Therefore, the supernatural is ordained to be the normal experience of the believer as a proof that he has experienced new birth indeed Isa. 8:18; Jn. 3:8. The supernatural is the secret behind the dominion of the believer in life; without it, the believer becomes vulnerable to life situations and circumstances Jn. 3:31; Psa. 82:5-7. A good understanding of the supernatural is essential for the believer to manifest it Pro. 21:16; Mat. 13:23.

What is a Miracle or the Supernatural?

1. A miracle is a manifestation of God’s response to our faith in Hs word and prophet.

Faith in whatever God says will commit God to perform His word Lk. 1:45; Acts 27:21-25; Rms. 4:20-21. Only those who believe in miracles ever experience them Jn. 11:40; Mk. 11:23; Mat. 9:27-29.

What are the requirements that enable believers to work miracles or operate the supernatural, to the extent that it becomes a natural experience for them?

How to Operate in the Supernatural?

1. Be committed to kingdom advancement endeavors.

When the believer commits to the advancement of God’s kingdom, the supernatural becomes the normal order in his life. There are different ways of engaging in the advancement of God’s kingdom, these include the following.

1. i) Soul winning.

This is going to where the unsaved are found, share with them the love of Christ, thereby make them to reconcile with God 2Cor. 5:17-20; Dan. 12:3. Soul winning qualifies the believer for power, which puts him in command of the supernatural Mat. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:20. Every believer is ordained a soul winner if he chooses Jn. 15:16; Jos. 24:15.

1. ii) Praying kingdom advancement prayer.

This is making the interest and enlargement of God’s kingdom one’s focus on the prayer altar Mat. 6:9-10; Lk. 2:37-38. It empowers the believer to command the supernatural Gen. 32:24,28; Psa. 63:1-2. The apostles engaged this platform to step into power, and continued in it, and the effect was increasing order of signs and wonders Acts 2:1-6, 3:1,6-16; 4:29:33; 5:12-14,15-16.

• iii) Financial stewardship.

This is using our financial and material resources intentionally to promote the advancement of God’s kingdom, as huge finance is required to build God’s house especially in these later days Zch. 1:17-21; Mat. 24:14. It includes building church auditoria, sponsor of outreaches, printing outreach materials, financing the transport of converts to and fro church services, taking care of converts needs to encourage their establishment etc. 1Chr. 29:3-12; Hag. 1:3-13. We must understand that God is not looking for who to help Him. Rather He gives the believer a platform for his change of status Hag. 2:3-9; Lk. 16:10-11. Financial commitment towards kingdom enlargement will keep the heaven of believer open, thereby causing him to operate in the supernatural naturally Hag.1:3-13.

In conclusion, every challenge on the earth has solution in the realm of the supernatural. Therefore, when the believer is able to operate in the supernatural, he has stepped out of the realm of limitation into unlimited possibilities.

To anyone reading this who would love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

1. Father in the name of Jesus, endow me with the grace to be tirelessly on the go for Christ from today 28:19-20.
2. Father in the name of Jesus, cause signs and wonders to follow me as I am on the go for Christ thereby drafting multitudes into the kingdom and this church like never before 3:8.
