God’s will for His children is to experience a fulfilling marital life – a marital experience that enriches life Gen. 2:18,23-25; Heb. 13:4. Marriage is ordained as a good thing, intended to enhance life, not to bring about hardship Gen. 2:18; Ecc. 4:9-12.

What is a Fulfilling Marital Life?

A fulfilling or glorious marital life involves:

  1. Timely Marital Settlement.

This means no delay in entering into marriage Psa. 68:6.

  1. Timely marital fruitfulness.

This means no delay in having desired children Psa. 1:3; 127:3; 128:3.

  1. Peace-filled and joy-filled marriage.

This means a marriage free from crisis and tension, where each day is enjoyed, not endured.

Covenant Demands for Glorious Marital Destiny.

  1. Be Genuinely Born Again.

Salvation liberates us from life’s calamities, until a person is saved, he is not safe Jn. 8:36; 3:3,16.

  1. Remain in love with God.

The love of God is the strongest force in the kingdom 1Cor. 13:13. God’s love at work in believers causes all things to work together for good Rms. 8:28. Love is demonstrated through actions that reflect commitment to what God loves 1Jn. 3:18.

  1. Be Committed to the Advancement of God’s Kingdom.

Commitment to the growth of the church, includes winning souls for Christ, bringing them into the church, and establishing them in faith Acts 2:41,46-47. This involves engaging in kingdom advancement prayer, soul-winning, soul gathering, follow-up, and financial support for kingdom advancement.

  1. Beware of Pride.

Pride leads to destruction Pro. 16:18; 18:22; 11:2. It causes individuals to view themselves alone, making them see others as unworthy. God resists the proud, resulting in failure, including marital destiny Jms. 4:6.

  1. Engage the wisdom of God.

A fulfilling marital experience requires wisdom Pro. 8:1; 24:3-4. Wisdom involves knowing the right action to take. For instance, a woman seeking marital settlement must cultivate friendliness and mental strength to avoid delays or poor choices.

  1. Engage the Power of Faith.

Many marital challenges stem from oppression of the devil Mat. 13:28. Faith is the solution to all such oppression. Obedience to God’s word constitute faith, which leads to the destruction of these challenges Eph. 6:16; 2Cor. 10:6.

  1. Make God your Only Source of Expectation.

Relying on alternatives to God opens one up to calamities Psa. 16:4. it is essential to trust God alone for marital fulfilment Psa. 62:5; Jms. 1:6-7.

Conclusion.

No matter what your past experiences in marriage, God’s will for you is fulfilment. If you dare to believe, it will become your reality from today.

Declaration.

MARRIAGE IS A GOOD THING!

EVERY GOOD THING IS MY ENTITLEMENT IN CHRIST.

THEREFORE, A GLORIOUS MARRIAGE SHALL BE MY EXPEREINCE IN LIFE.

MARRIAGE IS ORDAINED FOR BETTER LIFE.

THEREFOR, MYLIFE SHALL BE GETTING BETTER IN MARRIAGE FOM TODAY.

MARRIAGE IS HONORABLE IN AL LTHINGS.

I SHALL ENJOY HONOR IN MARRIAGE FROM TODAY.

I AM WALKING OUT OF EVERY MARITAL SHAME RIGHT NOW.

EVERY HANDWRITING AND ORDINANCE AGAINST MY MARITAL GLORY IS BLOTTED OUR NOW.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, empower me by your Spirit to walk in the covenant of marital fulfillment, thereby making me to enjoy glorious marriage from today 15:1.
