Wealth is the heritage of every believer, but accessible only through the practice of the covenant (Rev. 5:12). The covenant works for a believer who commits to faithful practice, and guarantees fortune no matter the hard condition (Psa. 89:34; 37:18-19; Jer. 33:20-21).

What is a Covenant?

  1. The covenant is a Deal Enacted by God, Based on Well-Defined Terns, and Sealed with an Oath.

This implies the blessing of God and the power for wealth that produces riches can be accessed only through the covenant platform (Deu. 8:18; Heb. 6:12-16).

Why God Blesses.

When the reason for the wealth God ordained for His children is not well understood, it will be abused and destroyed (Pro. 29:18). THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF WEALTH IN THE KINGDOM IS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF GOD’S KINGDOM (Hag. 2:3-9; Mat. 24:14). This means that God blesses us primarily to be a blessing first to the kingdom, then the world around us (Gen. 12:1-3).

Factors that Define the Level of God’s Blessing.

  1. Commitment to Kingdom Promotion.

God will not bless anyone beyond his commitment to the promotion of God’s kingdom on the earth (1Kgs. 8:17-18; Hag. 1:4-11; Mal. 3:6-10).

  1. Commitment to Blessing the Needy.

God will not bless anyone beyond his commitment to blessing the needy around him (Pro. 28:27; 11:24-26; Job 29:4-17).

  1. Commitment to Giving to Charity.

God will not bless anyone beyond his commitment to giving toward the wellbeing of mankind (Gen. 22:17-18; Mat. 25:31-41; 1Tim. 6:17-19).

  1. Giving by Covenant Priorities.

God will not bless anyone unless his giving is done with discretion, according to covenant giving priorities (Psa. 112:5; Pro. 3:9-10; Mat. 6:33).

Covenant Requirements for Walking in Financial Fortune.

Some of the giving channels in the covenant include the following:

  1. Tithing and Kingdom Advancement Sacrifices.

Tithing is the tenth of one’s income; it belongs to God, and must be returned whole (Lev. 27:30,23; Mal. 3:6-11). Kingdom advancement sacrifices involve engaging one’s resources do things that target kingdom advancement (Hag. 1:3-10).

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

    1. Father, I make the choice for financial fortune, and I receive the grace for covenant responsibility to make it my reality in life (1Cor. 15:10).
