Prayer and fasting are commandments of scripture ordained for believers profiting Mat. 6:6,17-18; Isa. 45:19. The core wonder of the altar of prayer and fasting is release of power Psa. 63:1-2; Lk. 4:1-2,14. Power is the core benefit of prayer and fasting; we step into the next level of empowerment every time we genuinely engage in the altar of prayer and fasting Acts 4:29-33.

The Significance of Power.

  1. For Triumphant Living.

The level of empowerment of a believer is what determines the level of triumphant life he will experience Lk. 10:1-2,17-19; Psa. 66:3.

  1. For the Fulfilment of Prophecy of the Year.

Every time God opens door, there are many adversaries with the mission to sabotage access and entrance for believers 1Cor. 16:9. Power is what silences these adversaries, not activity or shouting Psa. 66:3.

  1. For Security of Believers in this End-time.

Scripture says that the wicked will become more wicked in the last days, with the intention of getting as many believers as possible out of the faith Dan. 12:10; Mat. 24:22. Power is the security of believers against the wickedness of the wicked, which is the reason God ordained the end-time church for power Psa. 110:2-3.

Everyone who desires to secure his place this year needs adequate empowerment; the prayer and fasting altar is the place of empowerment.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
