Memory verse:
“He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psa. 126:6.
In God’s kingdom, faith is central and a must to get at any provision, promise, or desire Heb. 11:6; Mat. 9:29. In essence, faith is the ‘capital’ for a successful life in the kingdom Mk. 9:23. According to the scriptures, faith is defined as the substance of things hoped for, or the substance of things not seen, which means things expected Heb. 11:1,8-10. In essence, faith is simply expectation that is borne of what God said Rms. 4:17-18. This is the faith the bible says can’t be disappointed nor fail Pro. 23:18.
The power of expectation.
- It gives value to our intercession and supplication.
What we express in prayers will only receive heaven’s approval for delivery when we have expectation Pro. 23:18; Jms. 4:2. Often, prayer don’t have result even with much engagement because the expectation was weak.
- It defines what God will do in the believer’s life.
Jesus said, “according to your faith, be it done unto you” Mat. 9:29. We have defined faith as expectation; hence our expectation defines what God will do in our lives Mk. 2:1-12.
- It is the guarantee for the delivery of testimony.
Expectation validates faith, which in turn secures the delivery of desires testimony Jms. 1:6-7. In essence, whatever anyone expects believing is sure to be delivered as testimony Psa. 62:5.
Remember, God has said we are in our season of harvest of rewards. Our expectation must be alive to see this become the reality.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to maintain a living expectation for the full delivery of the harvest of rewards this season Ecc. 9:4.
Action.
Write down your desired expectations for the season of harvest of rewards.
Priestly Blessings.
I command your expectation is ignited by the power of the Holy Spirit now!
None of your expectations for the season shall be cut off!
