Someone said, there is no great man in life, we only have helped men 1Chr. 12:22; Psa. 60:11-12. The challenge with many is that they seek for help from wrong sources. The true source of help in life is the Holy Spirit Jn. 14:16-17,26. To access this help, one need a good understanding of the Holy Spirit; who He is and how He helps Psa. 119:144; Pro. 21:16.

Understanding the Holy Spirit and How He Helps.

  1. The Holy Spirit Empowers Believers for Delightsome Obedience.

Obedience is believers gateway to a world of supernatural blessings Deu. 28:1-2. Obedience to God’s instruction is not natural with man, because the devil through his spirit works to make people disobey God, thereby robbing them of blessing Eph. 2:2; Rms. 8:14-15,21-23; Jn. 10:10. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of obedience, who destroys the hold of the spirit of disobedience on believers Rms. 8:1-2. He empowers believers, beyond our ability, to obey divine instruction with delight Ezk. 36:27. The truth is that obedience may be costly, but the end result is priceless Php. 2:8-11.

  1. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Faith.

In the race of life, it is to everyone according to his faith Mat. 9:29. Also, we live in an embattled world, and faith is what makes one to overcome in all the battles of life 1Jn. 5:19,4. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of faith, who empowers us to believe all things Acts 24:14. By this, a believer steps into the realm of all possibility, where he can do all things and make all that God says come to pass Mk. 9:23; Lk.. 1:45; Php. 4:13.

Conclusion.

We are ordained for a life that is great, enviable, and glorious Rms. 8:29-30; 3Jn. 2. It is not achievable in our might; else we end up struggling and frustrated Ecc. 9:11. It takes the help of the Holy Spirit, and it will be accomplished stress-free Zch. 4:6.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, baptize me with the Spirit of obedience and faith, thereby empower e to fulfil the glorious destiny ordained for me 4:13; Ezk. 36:27.
  2. Father, I call for the help of the Holy Spirit in all areas of my life, making me to command noiseless breakthrough from today 4:6.
