Redemption qualifies believers for a glorious destiny, but this would only be experienced in reality through the help of the Holy Spirit Rms. 8:29-30; Zch. 4:1-6. This means that every believer who desires to enjoy the life of glory and envy must connect and secure the help of the Holy Spirit. To connect to this dimension of help, we need understanding of the Holy Spirit and particularly how He offers help Psa. 119:144; Pro. 21:16.

Understanding the Holy Spirit; Who He is and How He Helps.

  1. The Holy Spirit Empowers Believers with Supernatural Intelligence.

The Holy Spirit does this through His ministry as the Spirit of excellence Dan. 5:12; 6:3. Scripture shows that the mind of man is central to His life, it is the gauge that determines his experience and outcome Pro. 4:23; 23:7; Phm. 1:14. The mind is the seat of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, these are the three forces that define each person’s outcome in life Pro. 4:7-8; Isa. 5:13; Hos. 4:6. One way the Holy Spirit helps believers is that, He empowers the mind to operate at supernatural level of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom that result in supernatural intelligence Job 32:7-8; 2Tim. 3:15-17. With supernatural intelligence, a believer delivers mighty works Mat. 13:54; Psa. 104:24. Scriptural examples of the supernatural intelligence are found in Joseph Gen. 41:15-16,38-44; and Daniel Dan. 1:17,21; 2:23-30; 6:3.

  1. The Holy Spirit is the Oil of Joy and Rejoicing.

Joy is a vital requirement for a glorious destiny; it facilitates the following among others to deliver a life of glory:

  • It enhances access to revelation Isa. 12:3.
  • It is the fountain of strength required for exploits Neh. 8:10; Dan. 11:32.
  • It is a booster of healing, health, and wholeness Pro. 17:2; 18:14.
  • It is key to fruitfulness Joel 1:11-12.

This means that without joy, the glorious destiny ordained for believers may never be a reality. The Holy Spirit is the oil of joy; He empowers believers to remain joyful and keep rejoicing irrespective of the situation Isa. 61:3; Rms. 14:17. Scriptural examples of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of joy can be seen in the life of the following: Jesus Lk. 10:21; Paul the Apostle Php. 4:4. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit is believer’s access to the oil of joy Rms. 8:35-39.

Conclusion.

God ordained believers for a life to be envied by all, and He provided the help of the Holy Spirit to make this a reality. All it requires is for each believer to accept the responsibility of connecting to this help for his glorious destiny to become a reality.
