One thing that characterized life is opposition; there is no one that is free of it. Science has it that there can be no movement or progress without opposition or resistance. This means oppositions are not really against us, but for us when we know what to do. But in real life, oppositions are essentially invisible, and they are what we refer to as invisible barriers Mat. 13:24-28; Eph. 6:12-13. The good news is that no matter the opposition, you are made to handle them and clear them off your path 1Cor. 10:13. You only need to be adequately equipped, and skilled in handling the forces capable to enable the believer clear off barriers.
The Covenant Forces for Clearing the Invisible Barriers.
- Be born again and remain so.
At salvation the believer receives Christ into his life; this makes him greater than any barrier that might confront him 1Jn 4:4; Eph. 2:5-6; 1:20-21. Therefore, the believer must carry the mentality of superiority to every barrier, for the barriers to give way to him in life Pro. 23:7; 4:23.
- Keep walking in the light of God’s word.
We live in the world of darkness, and it is the darkness that is the strength of invisible barriers. When the believer walks in the light, the barriers become visible and easy to deal with by the believer 1Ths. 5:5; Eph 5:8. God’s word is the light of life, operating by God’s word is walking in the light that empowers the believer to break invisible barriers Jn. 1:1-4; Psa. 119:130.
- Keep walking by faith.
Faith means confidence in God, which moves the believer to dare put what God says into practice 2Cor. 5:7; Mat. 14:25-30. Faith has the capacity to break any barrier of life Eph. 6:16; 1Jn 5:4. In essence, walking by faith guarantees that every invisible barrier is broken.
- Keep serving God and the interest of His kingdom.
Serving god invokes God to work in favor of the believer Psa. 102:13-15; 2Chr. 15:12,15. When God is invokes in a believer’s life, everything against the believer is destroyed by God Psa. 68:1-2; Exo. 4:22-23.
- Keep following God’s leading.
In life, there is always the path of God and that of men; often the two are in conflict Isa, 55:8-9. Following the path of God will always secure God’s backing, presence and intervention Psa. 22:1-6; Isa. 48:17,21. Remember, God’s presence guarantees the destruction of all barriers in life Psa. 68:1-2.
- Keep speaking boldly against all forms of barriers on your path.
In this kingdom, words are stronger than the oppositions of life Lk. 21:15. Therefore, the believer that loves to see the barriers of life cleared off must learn the use of his words in this wise Psa. 81:10-14; Mk. 11:23.
- Engage a lifestyle of praise.
Praise will always secure God’s presence and manifestation any time, any day Psa. 22:3. When God’s presence is invoked, every barrier gives way Psa. 24:7-10.
In conclusion, invisible barriers are real, but they are not permitted to stop the believer in life. Most believers have been victims of invisible barriers because of ignorance, and failure to take covenant responsibility to clear them off. From now, no barrier will survive in your life again.

Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
