New birth brings the believer into God’s family, a family with great heritage and promises Acts 20:32; 2Pet. 1:3. These inheritance of the believer is loaded in scriptures, and access is as the believers eyes are opened to see them Gen. 13:14-15; 2Cor. 3:18. In essence, it is not how long one has been born again or in church that matters, but how much of one’s heritage one can see. This heritage of the believer has the guarantee of breakthrough in life when delivered.

Exploring God’s Word for our Breakthrough Heritage.

We shall look into the scriptures to know those things that make up the believer’s inheritance.

  1. By redemption, we have eternal life.

Eternal life is the God-kind of life; in essence, we now share divine life or divinity with God Jn. 3:16; Rms. 6:23. Eternal life means life that nothing can terminate, life that unstoppable, life that is full of all essentials for good living. Another word for eternal life is abundant life Jn. 10:10. Therefore, being born again brings the believer into the life satisfied with every good thing.

  • We are born again a supernatural being.

At new birth, there is a re-birth of the individual akin to the natural birth. This birth is a spiritual birth by the Holy Spirit, which turns the believer from a human into a spirit being Jn. 3:6-8. As a supernatural bring, the believer now lives above the natural elements and forces of life Isa. 8:18.

  • We are born again as kings to reign on the earth.

At new birth, the blood of Jesus purges and cleanses from all sin, which has made a slave out the individual Rms. 6:15-22 [AMP]; 1Cor. 6:9-11; Heb. 9:11-15. The blood turns the believer into royalty as a king to reign in life Rev. 1:5-6; 5:9-10; 1Pet. 2:1-2,9; Isa. 62:3. In essence, becoming born again turns a slave into royalty.

  • We are redeemed to be prosperous and not paupers.

At new birth, when an individual makes the choice and receives Christ, an exchange tales place. Jesus takes his place in depravity, while the believer takes Christ place in prosperity 2Cor. 8:9; Jn. 10:10. Therefore, the believer is no longer the deprived, beggarly individual, but now an abundantly blessed, with ability for every good works.

How to Access our Breakthrough Heritage.

  1. One must be born again.

Being born again is simply to acknowledge one’s sin, repent, and turn to God for freedom by receiving Jesus into one’s life. When this is done sincerely, God’s power is released into the individual’s life that makes a new person to emerge Jn. 1:12; 10:4-5.

  1. One must be spiritual.

After born again, one can either be carnal or spiritual. Being carnal is nothing different from being unsaved Rms. 8:5-6. While being spiritual is simply the choice to live by the standard of God’s word, and controlled by the Spirit of God 1Cor. 2:14

In conclusion, God created life on the earth to be very good for you Gen. 1:31. Your choices will determine your lot and experience Deu. 30:19. The choice to live for God is the secret to enjoy the best on the earth.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer:

Father in the name of Jesus, as you have opened my eyes to the truth of my heritage in Christ, I receive the grace to make it my daily experience from now 1Cor. 15:10.
