The scriptures show us clearly that the only way to access the provision of supernatural wealth that redemption offer is the covenant Deu. 8:18. God’s way is the guarantee to a desired accomplishment, but it does not always appeal to men like the way of man does Isa. 48:17; Pro. 14:12; 16:25. Therefore, our understanding of God’s covenant and commitment to practice of it is the believer’s gateway to financial fortune Jer. 30:20-25; Gen. 17:1.

What is a Covenant?

A covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and secured with an oath Heb. 6:16-18.

This covenant of God involves God and the believer, with both sides having responsibilities to undertake, which is what we call terms of the covenant. God’s responsibility is the abundant supply of the believer’s need, which scriptures attest that God is always faithful and will never break His covenant Deu. 7:9; Psa. 89:34; Jer. 33:20-25.

Terms of the Covenant of Financial Fortune.

1. Kingdom promotion sacrifice.

A sacrifice is a giving that has great cost or implication on the life of the believer 2Sam. 24:24. But every sacrifice towards the promotion of God’s kingdom always invoke God to sudden and dramatic financial turnaround story for the believer Psa. 126:1-6; 1Chr. 29:3-12.

The benefits of practising the giving covenant goes beyond financial returns.

1. It procures favor.

Favor means to enjoy help that makes one’s effort become insignificant Exo. 3:21; Psa. 44:3. It is the cure to struggle, toiling and frustration in life. And it is one vital thing a believer enjoys when he practises the giving covenant Psa. 35:27; 102:13-15.

1. It guarantees supernatural fruitfulness.

Remember, one can labor but it is God that guarantee result an fruits from our labor 1Cor. 3:6; Psa. 127:1-2. Covenant practise empowers the believer to be supernaturally fruitful Exo. 1:13. This fruitfulness includes every area of life; the womb, work of the hand, finance, career etc.

In conclusion, God’s covenant is the answer and security in hard times; it will empower the believer to command wealth no matter how hard the time is to the envy of his world. We are yet to see anything, as God’s people commit to walk in God’s covenant, the more the world become harder the more believers will be prospering.
