The understanding by the believer of who redemption has turned him into, is vital to experience the reality of abundant life 2Cor. 5:17. The scriptures make us to understand that how much the believer can see of his true nature in Christ, is what determines his real experience in life Gen. 13:14-15; Num. 13:27-33. In essence, the picture the believer has of himself is what determines the experiences of his life. God’s word is the spiritual mirror that reveals the true picture of who the believer has been made by redemption Isa. 29:11; 2Cof. 3:18; Jms. 1:22-25.

Who Am I?

  1. I am redeemed a spirit being in human flesh.

When an individual is born again, he is now born of God 1Jn. 3:9; 5:1. By the law of procreation, like is to beget like Gen. 1:24-25. God is a Spirit; being born of God will mean that the believer is also a spirit after the order of the almighty God Jn. 3:5. Therefore, the believer is a spirit being placed in human flesh Acts 14:11. When a believer catches this picture of himself, he is no longer human, and will no longer have the experience of human. Everything about that believer will be supernatural thereafter.

  • I am redeemed a ‘lion’ to prevail where others travail.

New birth translates the believer into a member of God’s family, with Jesus as the head Col. 1:13-14; Rms. 8:17. The scriptures show us that Jesus is ‘the Lion’; as members of same family, the believer must also be a lion Rev. 5:6; Jn. 17:18. Lions have one major characteristic, they are majestic, they prevail where others struggle and travail Pro. 30:29-30. Hence, when a believer catches the picture of being a lion by redemption, he no longer struggles like men, but prevail in all things.

  • I am redeemed to operate in the realm of unlimited possibilities.

Salvation through faith in Christ grafts a believer into God, thus bringing the believer into the same status with Christ as begotten of God Rms. 11:13-21. This duplicates Christ in the believer; in essence, everything about Christ, his nature, ability, etc. are practically duplicated in the believer. It means, whatever Christ can is what the believer also can make to happen Jn. 14:12. Therefore, when the believer catches the picture of himself as possessing the same ability like Christ, he has stepped into the realm of unlimited possibilities Php. 4:13.

Requirements to Actualize our Supernatural Nature.

  1. Operate with the consciousness of being a spirit like God.

The consciousness of being a spirit after the order of God is what will empower the believer to take command of the supernatural Jn. 3:8; 4:24; Pro. 23:7.

  1. Grow in your love for God.

The love of God at work in a believer makes him to become one with God 1Jn. 4:16. As the believer grows in his love for God, he gets to a point where he is filled with all the fullness of God Eph. 3:17-19. At this point, the believer walks practically in the supernatural while he is yet in the natural.

  1. Get deeper into God’s word.

God and His word are one; the more the believer goes deep in the word through study and meditation, the more he partakes of the divine nature 1Sam. 3:21; Jn. 1:1-3; 2Pet. 1:4. And the more he manifests the supernatural life of God.

In conclusion, every man is a product of his choice in life Deu. 30:19. Every choice is either to live as human with all the troubles and challenges, or supernatural and live above all troubles of life. Make your choice, make a wise choice!

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, I make the choice for the life of the supernatural; empower me by your Spirit to remain committed to my choice to the end Deu. 30:19.
