We have established that success is a product, and every product has the due process to get at it including success. Every success story demands labor investment Pro. 22:29. The scriptures make us to understand that serving God is the labor that guarantees all round success for the believer Job 36:11.

What are the Virtues in Kingdom Stewardship that will make for Success?

  1. Serving God is a platform for supernatural breakthrough.

Breakthrough can be defined as making progress in the face of obvious oppositions Exo. 14:14-15. Every life is faced with oppositions, but serving God guarantees breakthrough no matter the opposition 1Cor. 16:9; Exo. 23:25-27. The commitment to serve God commits God to the believer’s continuous change of levels and status Lk. 19:13,17-19; Pro. 4:18. Judah entered into a covenant to serve God, and God gave them breakthrough from hardship into rest or success round about 2Chr. 15:12-15. Peter in his frustration committed himself to serve God, his failure and frustration was turned into headline success story Lk. 5:3-8. No man serves God and remains at the same level in life.

  • Serving God is a platform for experiencing supernatural favor.

Life on the earth is either by labor or favor Psa. 44:1-3. Serving God delivers the believer from sweat to experiencing favor, where things will begin to happen in his life beyond human effort Psa. 102:13-15; Mat. 6:33. The Israelite made the choice to serve God when their labor at Egypt became unbearable, and their sweat was exchanged for strange divine favor Exo. 4:22-23; 3:21; 12:36. Check out the catalogue of favor they enjoyed:

  • The laws of nature were suspended as they kept eating and drinking without any work or planting anything Exo. 16:8,37; 17:6-7.
    • They enjoyed total health all through the wilderness journey Deu. 8:3-4.
    • They enjoyed supernatural abundance all the way Psa. 105:38.

Favor turns life to an attraction, and changes mere men into an envy in life Gen. 39:3-5,20-21.

Scriptural Examples of Success stories that were made on the platform of Serving God.

  1. David.

He was not remembered by his biological father when the prophet came to take a count of the sons in the house 1Sam. 16:4-11. But David became the most celebrated king of Israel, on the platform of serving God Psa. 89:22-24; Rev. 3:7.

  1. Nehemiah.

He was a war captive turned into a palace slave Neh. 2:1. But Nehemiah was a man with unusual passion for Jerusalem (God’s house) and the wellbeing of God’s people Neh. 1:1-11; 2:1-11. And on that platform, he supernatural emerged in greatness as the governor of Judah Neh. 5:14.

In conclusion, no man that truly serves God end up a failure or mediocre! The heritage and end of story for everyone truly serving God is enviable success. Serving God is a choice, ad it is the choice of the wise.
