Doors are devices to guard and protect access to a thing or place. God created life with doors; it is to prevent unauthorized personalities from access to each man’s destiny 1Cor. 16:9. Every door is opened with a key, and until one possess the right key the door remain shut. When the doors of life are shut; progress is hindered, one is denied access to what belong to his life, struggle will continue.
The Covenant Keys to Open Doors in Life.
- Be born again and remain so.
Jesus has the keys, at salvation He comes into the life of the believer Jn. 3:16; 1:12. In essence, being born again makes the believer to take possession of the keys of life, thereby giving the believer access to open doors.
- Divine presence.
God’s presence is a master key in life; it makes every door to open of themselves Psa. 24:7-10; 114:1-8; Isa. 45:1. Anything that will keep God’s presence from the believer’s life is robbing the individual of open doors. Among others, praise and worship guarantee God’s presence, which in-turn cause doors to open Psa. 22:3; Acts 16:25-26.
- Commitment to serving God and the interest of His kingdom as a lifestyle.
Serving God is another master key that open all doors in life 2Chr. 15:12-15. When Israel made the commitment in Egypt to serve God, the doors for their release opened forcefully Exo. 4:22-23. Some of ways to serve God are:
- In prayer – praying the various kingdom advancement prayers Lk. 2:37-38.
- In soul winning – this is going after the unsaved for their salvation Lk. 14:17,21-23.
- In soul gathering and establishment – by inviting people to church and see to their establishment Jn. 1:40-42.
- In using our skill to advance God’s work – like singing in the choir, the engineer serving in Maintenance Unit etc.
- In using our finance and material to promote God’s work Hag. 1:7-11.
- A commitment to serve God today is all is needed to force whatever door that has closed open finally.
- Commitment to love God.
Love for God is another master key; it makes all things to work for the good of the believer Rms. 8:28. And it’s because the love for God invokes divine manifestation, which makes every door to open Jn. 14:21; Eph. 3:17-19.
- Commitment to follow God’s leading.
Whenever God leads, doors will open to the believer Psa. 23:1-6; Isa. 48:21. This is because when God leads, He goes before the led, which makes all doors to open Isa. 45:1-2.
In conclusion, no door of life is strong enough to close against a child of God, when he makes use of the keys of the kingdom Mat. 16:19. No door closes against you from today!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.

There is whom God created each person to be and what to do; these are contained in His plan and purpose for the individual (Jer. 29:11).
